ibis Chesterfield North - Barlborough

Very comfortable bed and pretty quiet location, so no problem sleeping.
Everything you'd expect in your room for our 2 night stay.
The room was plenty big enough, clean and well stocked with coffee, etc. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, perfect for my wife, who has mobility issues.
We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment.
Local Harvester pub does food, as well as a McDonald's, both in walking distance, so there are plenty of options for meals.
All in all, a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Staff were very friendly and efficient, it the first time we've travelled with a dog (returning it to its owner) and found staff couldn't be more helpful.
Rooms were very clean.

Stayed here as our friends live nearby. Easy access to everywhere (by car). Breakfast is really good. Staff are lovely.

Look, the hotel won't win any awards for decor, but it does what it says on the tin. Great location for onward travel. Polite and helpful staff. Facilities clean and fully operational. Brilliant breakfast - added bonus that it was quiet too! Free parking and McDonalds right next door. Also has a bar on site. I don't think anyone could grumble for the price. Thank you for making my stay pleasant.

The staff are very helpful and friendly, if you need a fan or any more tea,coffee, milk or sugar you only have to ask at reception and they give you plenty

Had a great stay. Staff really friendly. The only thing that let it down was the bed it was so uncomfortable like sleeping in a board

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, but I didn't catch her name. It was her 1st day back after time off. She was very informative. Room was comfortable. Shower was always hot, which was good as it had been snowing and I hate been cold!!
Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice!
We would definitely stay again.

Needed a hotel at short notice. This was clean, well presented and reasonably priced.

We were visiting family in the area and needed a clean and quiet sleeping accommodation, the Ibis at Chesterfield was admirable for our needs.

My mum's had to stay here for the past few weeks and the staff have been absolutely brilliant for her. Always clean and good quality. Bit of a trek and bus ride to things but what can ya do. Overall the staff have been awesome and the service has been great! One of the better ibises I've been to!

Great base for our three night stay in the Peak District. Breakfast is good and at a fair price. However the fact that you cannot get any form of Egg other than scrambled, is a bit odd especially when there was just one other person so not busy in slightest. The there is the tea spoon thing? Any no tea spoons? I had to stir my tea and coffee with a little wooden stick like what you get at a Costa takeaway. No biggy really but when you’re paying to sit in the restaurant for breakfast a tea spoon would have been nice. These are only small ish gripes at a hotel I would certainly stay at again if ever there was a need. The place is great value for money, is a stones throw away from the Peak District and Sheffield etc, and most of all the hotel is clean. Rooms are spotless and the beds are comfy after a long day out just what you need.

Had a wonderful stay at the Ibis.👍 It was a lovely quiet hotel. Compare to London where I live. 😞All staff was very friendly.😊 Was there for my daughters wedding. 5days stay at the ibis. 👍Even the some cleaners aswell was very friendly. 👍Rooms was ideal. ❤Breakfast was lovely a lot of variety food. 😋I would recommend anyone for this lovely hotel. 👍Thank you so much to everyone at the ibis for your hospitality.😊We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms lovely clean & comfortable. Paid £12 for breakfast very disorganised. Waiting for hot stuff to come out . Cup of tea was cold by the time we eventually sat down with breakfast that's how long it was .

Booked for 2 nights, and it was a good base for us, free parking, with some fast food chains within walking distance.
Room was clean and tidy, with plenty teas and coffee in room.

Nice and clean. The staff all warm and welcoming and the cleaners are on top off there job. Nice place to stay. It's even got its own bar that's always good. Breakfast it's okay and the eating area it's clean and big. Loads of car parking. Anyway not to bore you more it's a good stay there is three car chargers in the car park one in the front and two down the side so they have the electric cars in mind here to so you can just plug your car in and let it change here it's brilliant and the outside garden for you to walk your dogs it's nice and big and to see the people here with there dogs it's nice to see the whole place it's nice and just of the motorway so you can just get off and here booked in and rest and the public transport it's just a few minutes walk from here and the golf course it's 7 minutes away from the hotel it's a nice walk there to I have done the walk there. It's to Retford tomorrow for the afternoon you need to come to see and it's cheap for a good rest and have good staff and food here thank you all robert .

Just off the M1 Motorway the rooms were nice and clean The staff were very helpful, when we went to our room we found there wasn't any plug sockets. I went down to enquire because my wife and myself suffer with sleep apnoea The receptionist apologised but they gave us an extension and asked if that was OK. It was perfect some of the hotels we've stayed have never offered us anything like this. The beds were comfortable and I slept like log. We will staying at this Ibis Hotel again. A big thankyou to the staff
