The most amazing food, service was just incredible and the whole evening was a night to remember.
If you're planning a meal out we could not recommend an evening more highly enough.

Perfect. We were seen straight away when we arrived, sat straight away, they even knew that we were the people on the phone half an hour earlier to book a table. They gave us a small glass of cocktail when we were seated. Food arrived really quickly and the quality of the food was incredible. Best restaurant I've visited, with the friendliest staff :)

This is a lovely little restaurant, hidden away upstairs at the corner of Neville's Cross. The service is delightful with friendly staff who are very helpful and welcoming. There's a fruity cocktail on arrival plus bread with olive oil/balsamic vinegar, both on the house. The main courses were well presented and quite tasty - I had tempura battered king prawns and monkfish, not cheap at almost £15, but well cooked and worth the money. House wine was very reasonably priced, and good priced cocktails are also available (approx £5.50). Can thoroughly recommend this place - if you want to go during happy hour (5-6.30pm) then I'd definitely suggest booking a table!

Nice ambiance. Friendly staff. Good food and wine at reasonable prices. Went for wedding anniversary meal. We will be returning to sample some more of the menu.

A delightful upstairs restaurant with excellent Italian cuisine and friendly staff. Obviously popular, it never became uncomfortably loud, possibly because the tables are comfortably spaced.

In the evening Bella Mamma is the only thing open in it's little street which has plenty of free parking. Happy hour rates on orders before 6:30pm make this a very attractive place to eat before going on somewhere else.

The food was excellent, staff are friendly and gave good service, great atmosphere well worth a visit.

We had a lovely meal for my boyfriends Mam's birthday.
Everyone enjoyed both meals and desserts which where good portion sizes also enjoyed a lovely cocktail.

We keep going here even though it's 12 miles away. It may not be perfect but it's not far off and the staff are very pleasant. If you have problems with stairs be warned it's upstairs and no lift. Fillet steak is typically expensive but very nice and not in the happy hour price!!

What a great place for amazing Italian food, even my favourite Filletto Rossini, which not all Italian restaurants do.

The staff are charming, with the front of house singing Italian songs as he goes about the place, he really can't do enough for you.

Stairs are a bit of exercise to get up there but we'll worth it.

Good choice if you're trying to impress someone, such as a hot date! :)

The exterior of the premises does not do this restaurant/bar justice. The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing! I would definitely go again and recommend it to my friends. A lucky find!

Couldn't get a table on NYE for 18 of us at the time we wanted. Instead they delivered to us which they don't normally do. In terms Of value for money, few better in Durham, if any! Thank you!

This reataurant is more than worth a visit. The staff are very professional, the food is very well cooked and presented and good ingredients used. Generous portions served. All in all very good value at good prices and high quality.
