Best hotel, love staying there. I always stay there when I visit family in Hastings, and have some for years. I recently got a dog, and was delighted to discover that they are a truly dog-friendly hotel. The owner and staff all have dogs and many guests as well. They made me feel really welcome and comfortable, and relaxed. My dog loved it too and felt very at home!

The locations is great, right on the beach. I had a sea view room and it was amazing waking up to the sea with a coffee. The room and bathroom was a good size and the stuff was so so friendly always there to help with a smile and the best part has to be the doggy receptionist! Would definitely stay here again. They have a bar and restaurant and are dog friendly

Wonderful, staff couldn't be more efficient and obliging.
Lunch was amazing and very reasonable.
Unbeatable views, late lunch, good coffee and watching the winter sun setting behind the pier, magical.
Dog friendly too, so you get to pet endless friendly dogs if you want too.

We stayed for a long weekend in July (2 rooms). Hotel is dog friendly which is great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Weather was fantastic so spent the afternoons on the terrace which had a great atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again.

This place really is dog friendly. Easy going hotel, right on the seafront.
Beds big and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and sparkly clean with a big shower. The breakfast was great. Spot on for the price point. Going back again soon!

We used the Seafront Meeting Room, which comfortably accommodated around 40 people in theatre-style presentation, for our one-day event. Laurence & his team were very friendly & responsive to our every need. The function suite was well-suited, being made up of two inter-linked rooms on the ground floor and close to hotel services including cafe-bar and reception, as well as the spectacular terrace overlooking the beach and pier. For presentations, there is a 50-inch, wall-mounted TV screen as well as a PA system which we didn't use. There is also a dedicated buffet area where refreshments can be laid out during the event. A great venue - would use again!

Didn't stay in the Hotel but enjoyed the use of their bar and in particular the outside decking on a couple of occasions that gave us views to the sea.
Good selection of beers and some realy tasty ales.
Very jealous of a couple who had cheesy chips - which looked a fair sized portion - worth remembering for next time.

Super hotel, right opposite the sea and the pier, with a lovely outdoor terrace on which to enjoy lunch and the sunshine. The staff are helpful and the owner is great! The food menu isn't extensive, however it is delicious, plentiful, and sensibly priced. It's a wonderful find, and I would highly recommend The White Rock Hotel.

What a great place to stay and so convenient for attending the theatre right next door!!
I must say I loved the look on the female receptionist’s face when I walked in to enquire about parking! I had just been to a local make-up artists and had driven to the hotel already fully made up as Dr Frank-n-furter ready for attendance of two productions of the Rocky Horror Show. Once parked the second Make reception appeared oblivious to my look and professionally booked me in and personally escorted me to my third floor room. Although somewhat dated in appearance and impossible to move around the room quietly due to the very creaking floorboards it was perfectly adequate and comfortable with the only draw back being negotiating the numerous narrow stairways back down to Reception in my stilettos!!

One of my favourite places for big breakfasts, lunch snacks, or an early evening drink from the bar. The hotel is brilliantly dog friendly, has good staff, a simple but well put together menu, and also has the best view of the pier and seafront of anywhere in Hastings.
