Love this place, staff were happy and friendly after a few visits, and they have chilled food and milk, which is handy to know if you're in a hurry.
Not so keen on the self checkouts, you can get stuck there if something goes wrong, or you need approval and it's really busy so the staff can't deal with things as quickly as a normal checkout. Quite different to the Poundland at Glyne Gap. Thankfully.

It's a great store! Well stocked, well staffed and very clean! The stock is always well displayed and tidy. Staff are constantly restocking and they are all very friendly and helpful.
There are some great items too: trinkets, decorations and gifts.
It's a great shop as you can literally buy anything: sewing, gardening, cleaning, DIY, drinks and snacks, kitchenware, food storage, hair products and accessories, batteries and smoking paraphanalia. All top brands and in date too.
The only con is the self service check-outs, the manned tills clear much quicker and they help you pack very quickly. The self-service checkouts, like all tills are very slow, loud and irritating.

I'd recommend going around Easter, halloween and Christmas as they always have a fantastic and varied range of decorations and low cost seasonal gifts.

I was out shopping with my wife, and we were a bit apprehensive about taking a look at this shop, perhaps thinking that it would all be very cheap and nasty. I have to say that we were amazed at variety of products and indeed the low price of them too, many were notable brands too. We noted some house maintenance items that will be useful to us so we will return to buy them there.

Where would we all be without a Poundland! These stores are great for picking up cold drinks and snacks when out and about, I really enjoy browsing the electronic section too even though most of the stuff isn't worth buying LOL!

Super busy in here with larger than life shoppers scrambling for the attention of all sorts of pre landfill items. The staff were very adept at keeping the flock moving.

I love it! Especially the toiletries, shampoo, soap, shower gels etc. Baby caring products, big brands for small price!

Crazy how some things in here are a quid yet in the big 4 super markets the items cost 110% more! Come on keep up with the small guy! Missed revenue which ever way you look at this.

I can get 5 different shampoos for £5: using a different one every time I wash my hair is a good practise for shiny, silky hair.

When this place opened a few years ago, the Hoofbag thought it funny to go around asking: "how much is that?" One thing they don't sell is parrot food. Be warned, one person bought a packet of Pollyfiller and their parrot died of food poisoning! (0:
