Rustico Neapolitan (Hastings)

What’s made a different at this place to others similars, it is the attention of all staff, they are really focus in trying to give you a unique service. Pizza was very tasty and freshly made. Nice place to visit again.

Rustico's gluten free bases are easily the best out of all I've tried. My pizza was very tasty and a decent size. For once I didn't feel like I was missing out. Tina our server was lovely and friendly. Great all round 👏

Come to Hastings for the weekend and very unsure where to eat, found this little gem! The servers Emma and Josh were very nice and attentive to our needs.we had pasta and garlic bread which was the best Italian food we have ever had!

Went on a Tuesday evening and service was really fast, pizza arrived in 5 mins, and I loved it. Ordered a Margherita pizza with extra olives, it was thin and fresh and tasted heavenly. Atmosphere is warm & cozy

Two extremely tired hikers… exhausted and hungry…walking towards the station… aroma of fresh baked pizzas fill the air… what do they do?
Well offcourse hop in and order two individual pizzas and hog!
Was greated by a cheerful Emma!
They were baking fresh hot pizzas. I got a Vegetariana and my friend got Pepperoni. They have an offer running… if you take away it’s £9.50 for a 12inch pizza!

So so worth it! Was so tempted to try the tiramisu but skipped it so that I don’t guilt trip later. But by just tasting the pizza I assure everything they make is with love!
The other people in the restaurant had pasta and if you looked at their empty plates you would know how yummy it was!

Quite possibly the best gluten free and vegan pizza I've had. The gluten free dough is amazing and they have some brilliant topping combos.

An excellent place to eat excellent Neapolitan food at a reasonable price.

Part of a local chain and so menu, and general atmosphere, décor is the same as their other Rustico branches (which is great). This is a rather small branch with just a handful of tables, but we hadn't booked and were able to grab a table without issue.

Opted for the Cannibale pizza this time around and it was cooked well and loaded with toppings. Can always recommend Rustico.

Lovely place to have dinner - the food was freshly cooked and delicious. I was served quickly by friendly staff and the atmosphere felt very authentic. Possibly the best Italian food I've had outside of Italy.

Rustico’s is a must when visiting Hastings! Delicious, fresh food. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Emma was great as our waitress! Made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our meal!

Popped in for lunch, tuna salad, little bit skimpy on the tuna but the amount of red onion tomato and sweetcorn made up for that. Plate was chipped but apart from that the service was very good, staff were happy attentive and pleasant. Definitely will visit again.

Discovered this place last year, while on a day trip to the seaside with my teenage boys. We absolutely loved the pizza (Diablos, Rustico and Pepperoni pizzas) and pasta (Polpette tortellini) dishes.
The pizzas are just perfect wood fired oven Italian style with thin base and bulging light fluffy crusts… perfect for soaking up the delicious garlic and chilli oils on the side.
We’ve been back many times since and always enjoyed our dinner at Rustico before heading back to the car for the drive home.
On our most recent visit to Rustico Hastings, we tried the Battilocchio (a deep fried calzone pizza) perfect for two to share for a starter, which had a unique tasting pastry, similar to a freshly cooked hot doughnut! Really tasty.

We’ve ordered from here multiple times, it’s always been amazing! Incredible food, friendly staff, high grade authentic cuisine.

It is my deepest dream and desire to visit each and every Rustico before I die. As I write, this is number three so I have quite a way to go. Hastings Rustico has it all: poetry, passion and pizza. Suffice it to say, I had a pizza and poetry and passion followed shortly after.

Food is delicious here and would recommend the 4 cheese pasta and the Margherita pizza! Emma, our server, was super speedy and helpful

Can't fault!

Lovely, well priced, little rustic Italian restaurant with warm and friendly service and atmosphere. Would have been nice to have proper wine glasses but that was our only gripe in this little gem. More than happy with our meals and won't hesitate to come here again next time we're in town.
