I had been to this place before, a few times once as a child, then in my early twenties, and now with my own child - I always wanted to be able to take my own child there 😃
The staff are super informative, very helpful and very friendly!
The site is just so much fun, not just for kids but for adults too!

Very educational experience, fun way to learn!

Honestly, you just HAVE to come here!

The day after visiting, my daughter asked to go back 😆

Well worth spending every penny, you definitely want to have money for the gift shop after too!

Bit of a walk down but you'll be doing loads of walking within the caves anyway you won't even notice that you've done so many steps 😁

Beautifully lit with coloured lights to help you see but not too bright that it dazzles you!

When we went they did do a kids activity thing, not sure if that's just because of the summer holidays

Great location! Well organised inside the cave too, have a few interesting and interactive things for children. We went as a school trip and children really had fun. It is located at picturesque landscape. We drove close to the caves and literally ran down the hill to the caves and then up the hill to the coach. It was about 5 minutes stroll from the road to the caves.

We visited on such a hot day. We were so relived at how cool it felt in the caverns. Some of the children were a bit scared by the dark areas, but where offered torches to help light the way. My partner and I really enjoyed learning about the history of these caverns. Especially with all the fun interactive areas. We will definitely be going again!

This place was amazing. It just kept going and going. Lots of turning and hidden corners. Very interactive for children and lots of history to learn in a fun way. Took about an hour to go round and cost £44 I think.

The kids loved the caves and learned a great deal. The area is beautiful, park by the beach, beautiful grass area for a picnic before or after

I love this place! So atmospheric that you can almost feel the eyes of the old smugglers watching as you walk through the magnificent caves where they once worked.
The displays are well set up with audio and images, and there's even a video where you can sit and get more details on not only the ways of the smugglers but also the behaviour of the residents of Hastings.

All in all an incredible experience. Definitely worth a visit.

A lot to see and learn. Very entertaining. Can be a bit chilly and slippery. Watch your step, especially in the dark.

A very interesting place where you can learn a lot about its history. The tour is enhanced by several mannequins and little games. I really enjoyed it :). Unfortunately, I forgot my bag there and went back to Germany, where I live. The very friendly staff proposed to send it back to me, so I received it and they even paid the postage. Thanks again :-))))
I would recommend you again.

Amazing day out. Best experience with foreign loved ones. ❤. The caves are magical. Recommend booking though and going out for lunch in Hastings.

Fun cave system with enough interaction for all ages to enjoy. The choice to allow people to explore at their own pace (assuming opposed to being guided on a tour) is excellent as you spend the time you want on the parts that interest you. Highly recommended for all ages.

A lovely little place to visit and hear about the smugglers from the area back in the day, we came along as part of a day trip to Hastings and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had planned to visit Smugglers Adventure and the Bluereef Aquarium, which is nearby, and were pleasantly surprised to see an offer for a "three in one" ticket for these two plus Hastings Castle, which we didn't get to, but did enjoy the first two.

Whilst not massive, this is a great little cave and well worth the visit - good value for money, especially when combined with the other attractions - well brought to life and lots of information.

Had a visit here a few days ago, and was trying to recall the last time I visited here, and it must have been some 30+ years ago..!! A lot has changed since those days, and they have made the caves a lot more interesting with the advances in modern technology and LED lighting... It's a good experience and worth a visit, with some informative history into the past uses of these caves... 👍👍👍

This was part of a payment package within the Blue Reef Aquarium and Hastings Castle.
Its a great treat for the children and adults. Its laid out really well with lots of interactive activites. Some areas are a little uneven so flat shoes a must. Lots of history in regards to the smuggling trade. I would definitely recommend a visit. Theres a gift shop on site and a toilet which was very clean.

Surprisingly fun. I thought it would be more cheesy but the caves were cool and the history was pretty interesting. Loved it. We also were the only people in the caves. It did seem more geared toward children but we enjoyed it a great deal.
