K W Oriental Supermarket

We’ve been regularly shopping here for the last few months now and won’t go elsewhere after the fantastic experiences we’ve repeatedly had.

Lovely people, lovely food and fair prices — why shop anywhere else? I’m saddened to see a bitter one-star review here. We should respect and support local businesses!

Shopping somewhere regularly doesn’t entitle you to an automatic discount, no matter what you spend, these people work hard for their business and income! It is a wonderful little supermarket with friendly faces every time.

Really good variety of teas! Also if you're looking to make some samosas they have the best pastry!

I would be absolutely lost without this place.

The bloke remembers my name, my favourite sweet chilli sauce, and always asks how things are with my family in Thailand.

Great range, not just the usual stuff too. So much choice.

Edit. I went to an equivalent in Cannon Park in Coventry last week, it was way less stocked and more expensive than KW Supermarket

Good collection of food and nice owner. Every time go to the town center we will bring some delicious back.

Fabulous local grocery store, friendly service, you could find thousands of ingredients to cook oriental dishes, the prices are reasonable- brilliant! I love the couple who are working there, they are lovely and genuine, they always offer my children some little snacks, the lady always smiles. Can get very busy sometimes, when it is busy, I often look at the scanned prices on the screen as she scans the products, I have been shopping there for 6 years, I haven't found any mistakes yet, but better to check your receipt before leaving, especially if you have special deals with the boss, in case they forget or misunderstand it when they are busy looking after other customers. Highly recommend this food store!

The shop might seems small from the outside but they offer a wide range of asian vegs, ingredients, snacks, drink, etc.

I’ve visited multiple asian shops in west midlands, but this one is quite good as they got things that we couldn’t find in another asian shops (Indonesian stuff).

Also you could call them ahead your visit to ask whether they got the items that you’d like to purchase.

The service is very nice, the lady is very helpful and friendly. The price is also good! Recommended.

Great little shop with plenty of variety for my wife's Thia recipes. But problems with there suppliers on our last visit, due to container problems in the Panama Canal. So understandable, was a lack of some popular items. My wife loves shopping here.

A lot of importation products, the shop is narrow but has the space well used. You can find almost anything you might need to cook asian dishes (like potato starch, rice flour, sauces...) at reasonable prices, much better than ordering the items online.

Great selection of fresh, frozen and dried Asian grocery. You can find most if not all of what you need in a Thai/ Indonesian/ Malaysian/ Singaporean/ Japanese/ Korean/ Chinese recipe. Tonnes of snacks and authentic Asian drinks as well.
I always get my Indomie, kimchi noodles, Nissin noodles and udons here. Stock up on authentic pak choi, morning glory, mooli, galangal etc.
They have got a really good selection of Japanese and Asian condiments plus Thai and Japanese frozen sweets as well. There's a frozen seafood and meat section that offers crustacean and offals that you don't get in bigger supermarkets.
Owners work really hard and are always lovely. For a small shop like this, I'm surprised to see no mark up compared to the giant Wing Yip in Birmingham (which is also a wholesaler by the way). I can imagine the owners don't make a lot and for this reason alone they deserve our support! Let alone having a reliable and well-stocked alternative to the big conglomerates!

Have been there shopping during my visit to L/Spa recently. Quite surprised at the variety of Chinese sauces and groceries available at this store. Bravo.

Lovely place! Can be depended on for Asian rice, sauces, frozen dumplings, et cetera. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Good to support local places rather than going online!

Great range of Asian products, from fresh veg, drinks, meats, spices, sauces, pastes, noodles, rice, dumplings, snacks and sweets. Can almost guarantee you'll find that ingredient you need that you can't find anywhere else here.

Very good shop , almost complete in Asian delicacies and other products. Loved to shop there. Goood service for a loyal costumer like me for almost 8 years!!! Highly recommended.👍👍👍

More or less every ingredient you could ever need for your SE Asia cooking experience you will find here, be it fresh, frozen, dried, canned or bottled. They are nice people too!

The only (?) Oriental store in town and the owners are very nice. Their vegetables are always fresh.
