We visited Hatton Locks while staying in the Cotswolds and Hatton Locks was recommended by one of the ladies at our hotel. We were delighted to find the cafe as it was a cold and windy morning. We were warmly welcomed and had coffee/hot chocolate and a snack. There is inside and outside seating. The cafe has a good selection of hot and cold food.

So lovely, this place is filled to the brim with handmade goods. A great variety of cold drinks, lovely coffee and lots of food available. Staff are extremely patient and helpful. I'm hoping to visit again in the future.

A super little cafe stop whilst en route through Hatton Locks on The Grand Union Canal. Serving a range of hot & cold drinks alongside homemade scones and snacks. Perfect to sit both outside and inside (when there's a table free.
During busier times, the tables inside are fully used, but there's lots of tables and space outside, with a covered canopy area as well if it's raining.
Great place to rest and refuel if you're walking the canal or not.

This is an informal, friendly cafe to visit if you are exploring the locks. On a cold, damp morning, this was a warm and welcoming stop for hot drinks and a snack.

What a lovely friendly, quirky and interesting cafe. Highly recommend their toasties and English breakfasts. Seems popular with local people too.

Everything you want in a nice meal and reasonable prices too. I went for a chicken and bacon salad served on a boatd. The Hatton Locks Cafe situated by the Grand Union Canal and the 21 locks from bottom to top climbs 150ft. Its worth a visit and nice walks there too.

A quintessential English canal side cafe. Most beautiful setting with traditional menu options. Great spot for tea and scones or a morning breakfast. Highly recommended.

Lovely little canalside cafe. An excellent array of outdoor seating, some of which is covered. The toasties and the soup are delicious, made fresh and not terribly priced. The drinks less so. There is a small car park with free parking just next to the cafe, but spaces are incredibly limited. 100% recommend, will definitely return many times!

Lovely little canal cafe, great value and great food. Was here for a Friday lunch and although busy we were served quickly. Good coffee and plenty of food / cake options (reportedly world famous scones, and those that ordered seemed to be very satisfied)
We didn't want to stop at a service station on the M40 and have now found our new stop for journeys. Car park at the lock and short walk up to the cafe.

Amazing cafe … was hoping they had ice cream of some description as I had been refused service at the Hatton Arms due to sitting outside!
Bonus though they had a range of alcoholic drinks and I had the most amazing Prosecco with a salted caramel plant based Ice cream.
Big thank you to the amazing staff we walked back to the caravan with ice cream and a rocky road for later!

Great cafe and the food is very tasty. The popularity of the cafe highlights how good the cafe is. There is plenty of outdoor seating, some of which is covered by a substantial sized gazebo. A great place to come relax and watch the world go by.

Fabulous little canal-side cafe. The Turkey and Pork bap is to die for, and the puddings and cakes are just divine! Reasonable prices with limited seating inside, but ample seating outside.

Lovely area with lovely staff. Sit in or outside and watch the narrowboats go through the locks. 21 in total and a lovely walk. Lots of choice of food and drink in the cafe. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful trip down during Easter Sunday. Carpark was busy, but eventually found space. Once on the locks, not at all busy. Everyone was spaced out and keeping distance. Cafe was open and great selection of food and drinks.

Visited twice in two weeks! Even on a terribly hot day, there was a breeze under the trees that was lovely! We brought our own chairs just in case, but there were plenty of tables. 5 minute walk from parking, easily accessible. Food was delicious! Tea trays left at tables drew bees on the very hot day so we sat further away from tables and had just a few buzz us. Highly recommend!
