We popped in on a Saturday night for a drink with friends. The beer was good, there was a group playing in the back bar which was enjoyable and not too loud. Good night out.

A great pub with a lovely atmosphere with a great selection of beer, spirits and soft drinks. The pub has a fairly big beer garden with a kids play area at the end of it. Last year they did a little rock festival there that was great. We'll worth heading down on a Thursday when the mobile pizza lorry comes! Gorgeous pizza's!

Wide selection of Beverages & snacks, friendly staff & Landlord as well as great Entertainment that is live on a Saturday evening, see there Facebook page or contact them directly for details. Also to add, a cosy warm welcoming atmosphere on arrival.

Once upon a time, the traditional English pub was an integral part of village life . . . a place where you could relax, engage with locals, swap stories and badinage with the landlord and bar-staff and generally feel at home. At The Free Trade, Graham and all the staff have built an experience of all that was best of the 'good old days', but even better than above, by introducing innovative themed meal-nights from a talented, imaginative and creative 'proper' chef, Chris. All this, together with keenly contested, pub-games leagues, coach tours, live music nights, local-charity events in an olde-worlde, genuinely historic building makes a visit to The Free Trade a uniquely rich and satisfying experience. Free Trade forever ... Dr Les Willmore
