So wish this great little place was nearer to our home! ☹
We popped in whilst travelling through the area and were blown away. 😊
The food and service were excellent.
Staff friendly and welcoming and gave good advice on food choices.
Probably the best burgers we've had in a long, long while and amazing puds too.
The KitKat cheesecake was amazing.
I'm sure we'll find an excuse to come that way very soon. 🤞

I was taken here for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. It's not the cheapest place, but it's worth the money. I would not hesitate in recommding the Hogget for a nice meal.

I've been trying to plan coming here for months and got there today and it did not disappoint. Big burgers and dirty fries and everything full of flavour. Highly recommend for any burger lovers

We had a really good family meal here on Wednesday evening. The staff were lovely and weren't fazed about us not ordering until our last family member arrived, an hour late, due to an accident on the M3. All of our food was delicious and the bottle of wine was very reasonably priced. Although we don't live locally, we will definitely visit again when we are next meeting up with family.

As a returning customer, I was pleased to see that the friendly warm atmosphere is still alive and well at the Hogget. The staff who served us were polite, attentive and very accommodating during our visit. Topped off with the beautiful food, I'll be sure to return when I'm next in the area that is for sure.

Having been advised by a friend at work to try this place for a steak, I did so tonight. I have to say that as I enjoy a good well aged steak cooked nice and rare, I was exceptionally pleased when my rib eye arrived. It was cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables were also spot on. The pepper sauce was at first thought to be a little thin, but as I got towards the end of my meal it was still fresh tasting and complimented the steak perfectly right through to the very last mouthful.
I took a chance in not booking a table in advance, but this was due to me being on my own, if I'd had been part of a group, I might not had been able to get in. I will definitely book so as not to be disappointed next time.
On arrival, the lady who greeted me, said that the only place they could get me in would be to put me on a large table where a couple were already sat at the opposite end. I'm glad that I said yes.

To sum up in a word, Superb!

I will definitely be calling again.

My husband and I are regulars. So much so that we feel like we're part of the family 🤣 Absolutely love Jake and the team, they are so accommodating, super friendly. Doesn't matter the time you go there is always a vibe. Delicious food, great selection of drinks (alcoholic and not), treats & water for the doggos. Could not recommend them more! You absolutely have to stop here even if it's just for a drink. You'll not be disappointed.

Just had an amazing meal at the hogget, booked a table half an hour before arriving on a Sunday! Greeted and sat at our table straight away and had our drinks order taken and within minutes they were with us. We then ordered our starters and mains and received very quickly I had the calamari and my wife had the grilled hallomi and we had the cauliflower wings to share and these were all great full of flavour and the potions were very generous for starters. Next I had the half rack of ribs which I would say came as a full rack in some restaurants but not here it was a big portion for half and I upgraded my chips for the smokey brisket Fries and my wife had the pork belly (slab) and she also upgraded to the same fries and we shared a doorstep garlic loaf! Every month full was splendid! Then as the portions were very generous it was the tough decision of pudding :-/. My wife went for it and had the Biscoff cupcake and I could only manage 2 large scoops of mango sorbet I tried abit of the cupcake and it was really nice. During our time at the hogget we were constantly asked if we needed anything and if our meals were OK and this is brilliant the staff were all cheerful and nothing was a bother I have to say this is up there in restaurant visits, the bill was fully justify able and worth every penny highly recommended and will definitely be returning as there's so much more the menu has to offer. Also the Guinness is poured to perfection. Well done guys.

Just dropped in for couple pints of 49er...... great Ringwood pint with great table service.

Booked a table for dinner this evening....another of my favourite chicken burgers and pint of fantastic Ringwood 49er.
Top marks again to both kitchen and front of house.

My wife and I returned to eat last Tuesday (cheap ale night).
We both chose Dirty Chicken Burgers which proved possibly the best burgers we've had!
So, great food, great service and again, a couple of perfect pints of Ringwood 49er!

this is a lovely quaint pub, well located, with a charming and relaxing atmosphere. fairly reasonably priced for the area, I would recommend the pork scratchings, and the burgers are excellent

Went there today for lunch. Was absolutely lovely. Staff were really friendly and attentive.
I like the fact there wasn't a physical menu to hold and instead you had to scan a QR code to see the menu online.
We had the brisket fries, bbq bacon fries and pork scratchings which was lovely and very filling! Will definitely be coming back as this is my new favourite pregnancy craving!

Burgers were huge and full flavour. Also you get very nice and crispy fries with them!

The staff was very nice all the time even at busy moments.

All food are delicious! Cannot think of a bad word to say about this place. Toilets are also immaculate with high end products. BRAVO TEAM HOGGETT

We've been meaning to go here for a very long time as we pass it quite a lot. Everything was lovely and we weren't disappointed.

What can I say! I'm resident at the Basingstoke Country Hotel just up the road and already felt more welcomed here than I have at my actual stay!

Only crept down for a sneaky Domino's from across the road, but found a pub! So it was in for a pint! Sadly no Doom Bar, but Beavertown made up for it!

The outside seating area was absolutely heaving (I'm not complaining, that shows an eatery that's popular!) So took a pew just past in the car park, enjoying a cool breeze with an even cooler beer!

I'll be back! That's a cert! (And next time, be prepared! I'll be trying out the menu!)

We stumbled on this place accidentally after a very long walk. We hadn't booked but as it was near end of service the staff kindly accommodated us.

Food was incredible. We had three courses (which we don't normally do) as everything on the menu sounded so good.
I had the steak which was cooked to perfection-it's rare to have a blue steak cooked well.
Make sure you leave room for pudding! We had Malteaser Cheese Cake with Honeycomb Ice cream & Creme Brulee with summer fruits. Both excellent.

Wine and Cider were also fantastic. As was the service. All the staff were helpful and attentive. It's an hour drive from where we live but we will definitely be back!

First time dining here, with family. Attentive staff, drinks ordered and served without delay. Good range of starters and meal choices on the menu, all reasonably priced. I only ordered to starters, Halloumi, £2.50 and Callimari, £6.50,see photo, as had a late breakfast.

Family ordered a burger, with a few extras, and the Sunday roast, and Mac&cheese for the little one. Space had been reserved for some delicious puddings too.

All in all, we will definitely be back. Food, service, atmosphere, everything, just made for a great dining out experience.

Stopped for a family lunch on our way to Millers Ark Farm. We got a very warm welcome. Kids and adults all had burgers which were really tasty and cooked to perfection.. Also the halloumi soldiers were delicious. Lovely staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it - only wish we lived nearer and could go more often. Thanks for your lovely service
