Mole Country Stores - Basingstoke

We had a delightful experience purchasing our 2023 Christmas trees, despite a slight disappointment initially due to most of them being sold out. Eventually, we opted for two medium-sized ones, ranging from 1.20m to 1.50m. The two sales agents involved displayed remarkable patience and offered valuable advice to help us select the most beautiful and sustainable trees, all while injecting a touch of humour into the process. Furthermore, a robust staff member assisted in loading the trees with great patience.

This is the very best local store for anyone with a small holding, farm, stables etc. Well stocked with everything from equestrian wear, pet food , animal feed, hay etc to chain by length, padlocks, salt licks, rugs etc. They sell heat lamps, animal bedding welly boots etc. There's an extensive range of country clothing, a well stocked garden centre and specialist aquarium supplies but also large feeders, hay racks etc. The all round country store. They have an eclectic mix of gifts and christmas ornaments from about October too. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices very reasonable. I can throughly recommend.

Love it. So glad I found this. Didn't realise that there was one so close. I'd been ordering online before. Service at till was great. Service at the feed collection point was excellent. Really nice staff. I hope to be a regular shopper there.

It might be a small place but there's plenty in the adjacent warehouse, you just need to ask the staff. Lots of items with good variety in the store itself. Great products at good prices. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Smashing place for all sorts of country/farm related activities...best prices around for majority of stuff and all under one roof. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Useful gardening section incl well priced and healthy plants too. Highly recommended for a visit.

I use mole for hay, straw and wood shavings (we have guinea pigs). I usually buy my hay and straw online, but mole is great for when I run out and need it right now. I buy my woodshavings from mole as the price is good value. Also have purchased some laurdary detergent here, as it was on offer at a great price. Also sells some nice seasonal stuff. Always receive good service from all staff members.

Having been "re-directed" by another of the stores, the staff here went out of their way to ensure that the stock item was in good condition, before I traveled there. And when the outcome was negative, they contacted other Mole Country stores to find a coop in good condition, and to get it shipped to their store for pick-up; keeping me informed at each stage. I consider this the highest standard of customer service.

Put your wellies on, whip off a peaky blinders cap from an unsuspecting dad, pull on those old overalls and get down there.
Prices not cheap but good for timber as long as you realise it's mostly sold to construct and repair a barn or Massey Ferguson shed with dimensions on the large side, try getting 3.9 Metres of larchlap in the back of your Skoda, Staff consistently cheerful and helpful.
