Innkeeper's Collection Hook

Me and my partner go out for new years and end up staying at a hotel for convenience. We've stayed at local hotel in the past but when this hotel got refurbed and we saw the price we thought we'd give it a go. The room was immaculate, very spacious and modern. It was like a better premier inn to be honest. The 12pm checkout is amazing too. For the price it's worth every penny. If had to critic the room, the bed being a super king is nice but it is pretty hard. That being said I slept all night and even had a little nap after breakfast. There was a weird knocking coming from ceiling too, which was rather annoying but didn't really affect the overall experience.

I regularly travel to Hook for business and this is the first time I've stayed at The White Hart. Following an overnight stay I'll now be requesting this as my first choice accommodation in future. The staff are incredibly friendly and always offering a helping hand if needed, rooms were refurbished and clean, and the hotel itself is a beautiful 16th century inn.

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, as always. The staff were really welcoming and attentive, the rooms since refurbishment are lovely especially the new bathrooms and the food was delicious. I’ll be back soon

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well presented, with lots of space. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and fresh. The only small criticism is I think the toilet seat could be of better quality as it did not match the quality of the rest of the bathroom and bedroom features. The breakfasts were fabulous and extremely good value for money. The room was also well priced.

The hotel was charming and rustic. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. Our only criticism was the bar food menu which was very confusing and the quality of the 1st dinner meal was not good. We are guessing that the bar staff cooked the meal as the food for the remainder of the trip was perfectly fine and especially the breakfast which was lovely and plentiful.

We only had a drink in here, but the staff was pleseant and very clean and tidy

We stopped en route to cornwall with three kids and really enjoyed staying here. Staff was very friendly, food was good (dinner and breakfast) and the restaurant especially had a lot of character. I saw the other review complaining about the bathroom, but we booked 2 rooms, and I thought both were fine. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a brilliant place. The pub is really old with lots of character, the evening meal was good, the guest beer (Traditional English Ale - T.E.A.) was a bit too good. The room we stayed in was amazing, it was in the old part, and had wooden beams and a sloping floor. The bed was so comfortable. The continental breakfast was yummy, a good selection of fruit, cereal, toast and jam but the winner was the warm croissants. The staff were all very welcoming and made us feel so at home. I look forward to staying here again.

Warm welcome, very accommodating as we booked late on Saturday evening as moving from another unsuitable hotel. Comfortable clean & homely room, had a lovely nights sleep, very comfy mattress, lovely bath & shower. Well lit, safe car park. Very relaxing stay, thank you.

Great location. Rooms were clean if a little dated and the team were so lovely, little disappointed had only continental a couple of days but difficult with team shortages but food overall was of great quality for simple pub. Would definantly visit again.

Stayed one night but will def be back.
I was impressed with the room, the bathroom just needs a little tlc which the owner/manager admitted and told us they will get renovated.
Really easy check in/out, and were treated like Kings at breakfast time, it may have helped that we were the only ones eating 😆
Hopefully next time we stay we will enjoy a dinner and drink without the rushing around from our own plans.

Great place to stay, however I think it would be better if they had air conditioning in the rooms.

Beautiful comfortable beds. With rooms that you can relax in. The bathrooms were due refurbishment but that's put on hold due to covid but it made no difference to my stay the rooms were perfect. The staff go over and above to accommodate everyone. The standards have really went up and it shows

We were welcomed by friendly staff the room was clean and tidy with a large comfortable bed and best of all our continental breakfast was bought to our room that's service for you. It was a pleasure to stay there. We hope to go back soon.
