Lady on the tills just before Xmas was amazing! She was full of knowledge about everything we needed to know. Helpful with our vouchers we had and explained everything to us about their services they had to offer. She is an asset to the store

Considering it was just before Christmas and the place was packed out with customers my pre order goods were quickly delivered to the desk and the staff all seemed happy. Which given the amount of customers was a great to see.

Good selection and caters for lots of different animals.

Shame they didn't have the honking sprout I was after but did have a nice cheap pheasant toy that my dog loves anyway.

Went to one of their My Pet Pal workshops with my 5 year old in the summer holidays. My daughter loved it, the lady Emily running it was really good with the kids and gave lots of great information. Holding some of the animals was great for the children.

Pets at home are certainly pet friendly! I visited today with my friend and her dog. There were several furbabies in there with their humans and they all got smiles and love from all staff, even the naughty ones who were trying to help themselves to the 'pick and mix' 😂😂. My friend's dog was being very helpful clearing up all the treats that had fallen under the shelves!

Quickly found everything I needed, very good service.

My partner recently purchased a Cockapoo puppy and was worried that it had caught fleas and was under the weather. There was no vet's appointment available for 2 weeks for the puppy's shots, but the nurse agreed to give her a checkover, and treat it for worms and ticks etc at short notice.

In addition to that, despite not having a vet's appointment, she arranged for the shots the same day, and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, giving advice on what we should and shouldn't do in a friendly way. The nurse's name was Natalie and we think she deserves a special mention for her obvious love of animals and the professionalism she showed.

Tidy, well stocked and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The retail staff aren’t experts on animals though, so if you’re looking to adopt a pet, please do your research thoroughly before shopping.
Other than that, the supplies are great, everything you could ever need for all ages and types of animals.

This is a great all in one pet shop . It has a Grooming center , Vets and all your pets needs in a large shop , everything from reptiles , fish , hamsters , genie pigs , rabbits , cats
and of course man's best friend (dogs) .

With really friendly staff which are very helpful in every department , this is a great place to take your pet for all there Supplies and needs .

My partner and I went into the shop yesterday to pick up a few things for our puppy. We were assisted by a shop assistant named Grace. She was so helpful with giving us advice and ensuring we were getting any deals/offers through an app we hadn't heard of before.

I went into pets at home basingstoke this weekend as I wanted to enquire about adopting a hamster from the adoption centre. Jack helped me from start to finish, he told me all the things I needed to get to make sure the hamster was happy, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped me set up the app to get a new customer discount and he was very helpful. Well done Jack, asset to the team.

After our email conversation a week ago we made an appointment for our little hamster who wasn't well. We've got the same day appointment, everyone was very nice - from lovely reception lady to a vet Wojciech who was very kind and helpful, very gentle with Oreo. He explained everything, showed us pictures, prepared medication and told us not to hesitate contact them if anything happens. Very happy with their service and care. Thank you ❤

I went in one evening to get some cat food. My cat has kidney problems, and needs special food. They didnt have any on the shelf (as its a special order, which makes sense). But the manager (i forgot her name) was very helpful, gave me lots of information about the food and gave a short term alternative while I wait for the food to arrive from online. Couldn't praise all the girls working that evening enough. Lovely and helpful. Customer for life now.

Brilliant service and advice. We got all the bits we needed for our new kitten and the advisor showed us the app and now to save some money. Was very impressed and will go back for our supplies.

Groomers are great 👍 the cue for the shop and at the tills is a little over the top when you can just walk in to a supermarket now
