Lidl

I travel over 30 minutes to reach this supermarket. It’s Basingstoke’s biggest secret. Quiet, clean and friendly. If you close your eyes and walk though those sliding doors with a Bing Bong it’s as if you’re in Provence.

Easy access for parking , LIDL allways clean and tidy inside and very happy with my purchases ....

One of the best things about this Lidl is Tony. What a lovely guy. Always happy, chatty and warm. I don't go to Lidl much but I always liked being served by Tony. In fairness all the staff members seem lovely and happy. Makes a big difference to the normal customer service these days. Food obviously a great price and normally find everything I need.

Same as other lidl, plenty of products, for some reason this one seemed smaller and with less products, I may be wrong as I didn't checked eveything, but still plenty of products to choose from.

Staff are polite and also store is beautiful and clean ladies on tils are very helpful indeed

Great local brand. I do most of my shopping there, clean store, not too busy in the mornings therefore very good for quick visit and few items at a time.

It has plenty of free parking, next to it is a pound stretcher shop, a fuel station, massive Sainsbury's, B&M and American Golf store etc.

Thoroughly enjoy my weekly shop at Lidl. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Good range of items, which are very competitively priced. Bit hit or miss if they have everything you need, but same can be said for most shops.
Reasonably quiet early evening shopping, and staff are quick to open an additional till if needed.
Lidl plus app is also available, which give you vouchers, so can't complain about extra money off.
Plenty of parking but need a coin for the trolleys.

Ok if you go early morning or late night.

Lovely spacious well set out store. Wider range of products than other Lidl stores I have used nearer to my primary residence. Wasn't overly busy when I visited, this made the whole shopping experience rather nice. Famous "middle" well stocked, tidy, nicely set up and I was able to locate items that didn't seem to make it to my usual store. Very knowledgeable yet friendly staff, an absolute pleasure to shop there. Well worth making the trip. Most unusually they have toilet facilities for shoppers, something I have only seen in Spanish Lidl stores. Nice extra.

Lovely, clean and tidy shop. We'll stocked with all the essentials at great prices. They also sell diy/pet and gardening equipment at different times on a rotating basis. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is sanitising spray and hand gel available at the entrance.

It looked as if was a recently built Lidl and it was sqeeky clean and totally not busy. It was a joy compared to my local one in 'little Poland' because I had room to shop. No queue at the till but it was Sunday afternoon when most folk have got better things to do than visit Lidl.

I love the Lidl Hatch Warren. Although it's borderline Beggarwood, Lidl Beggarwood rolls off the tounge better as well. The best bit is how quiet it usually is, I don't really like people so it makes for a lovely peaceful shop, unlike Aldi over by Brighton hill roundabout which is wall to wall bodies at the weekend, and you want to be in and out as quick as possible to get some personal space back. I also love that no matter how much you buy you never really seem to be able to spend more than 30 quid per visit it's great value especially compared to next door Sainsbury's where no matter how little you buy you spend at least £30. The main highlight is the bakery which is the best of all the supermarkets, but sadly like Aldi it just lacks the overall range to do a full weeks shop. The staff in store are lovely, and go at a slightly slower pace than Aldi at the checkouts, reducing the convey belt anxiety somewhat, although lanes are activated/deactivated at quite some pace so prepared for a bit of a gamble on deciding to stay in your lane or move to another till that's about to open. I can guarantee whatever your decision it was the wrong one. Overall though a lovely experience and definitely the best of all the Basingstoke supermarkets.

This is the best Lidl I've ever been to - it's a bit bigger than normal Lidls. It's brand new (early Jan 2021) so the car park is freshly tarmacked and painted, and all the trollies ride perfectly smoothly and quietly. There's a decent selection of produce thanks to the bigger shop size, although there weren't any courgettes during my visit, but you can't have everything in stock all the time so I can't complain.
I went there during lockdown 3 straight after work on a Thursday evening and only waited about 20 seconds in the queue. Thumbs up to the managers.

Just like any other lidl, but happy it's out the way of town centre. Doesn't get so busy amd enough baby parking

Nicely set out, clean and tidy but to be fair this is Lockdown 2 so there isn't many people about.
Good too see the maniacs haven't cleared out the bog roll, flour and eggs.

On a budget I can just about four tweet and they're always helpful🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🇬🇧
