Asda Merthyr Tydfil Superstore

Always a high level of customer service with clear signage over the aisles, only bad thing here is the parking company checking car parking times, Parkingeye, who issued a ticket to me for overstaying the 3 hour time limit and fining me £75 only they had my stay at 57 minutes on the paperwork they sent me. After me showing they had my stay at 57 minutes on the paperwork I received from them they insisted I prove I was actually in Asda, luckily for me I had a receipt from that day 3 weeks after the date of the so called overstay. In my opinion t hey were desperate to receive their blood money after I showed them they had shown only 57 mins on site over 2 hours under the 3 hours maximum stay. Beware of parking fines issued and check the times on them and if their wrong contest them as per the the instructions on the paperwork recieved.

Local store never had any problems cafe lovely always packed and staff are friendly and helpful.

Lots of parking space, self checkout available, varieties of irems to shop, great customer service..... lovely place

Called in on Friday looking for prime for my daughter (after many failed attempts of trying to get the product) spoke to customer services who went above and beyond to help locate the last bottle in the store! Excellent customer service skills made my daughters weekend! Thank you Michelle

Plenty of reasonably priced products while I was there escalacuter coming down from clothes section upstairs wasn't working and there were no clear signs interacting customers where the lift was lots of customers wondering around like a load of headless chickens

I have to praise the Asda staff, who assisted me on Saturday 3rd of September 2022. They were very kind and helpful towards me, after being let down by an online order. I cannot thank them enough, the Blippi cake turned out to be a success!

You might lose children because it big ,pizza taste like Italy is dancing around you , the takeaway baps are tasteful and they yummy yummy in some peoples over sized tummy’s , the workers don’t help but some do which is nice because chaos would accour if someone didn’t know where the Jaffa cakes were so they would be sad 🥲, the bread is fresh like fresh bread which tastes like bread , the donuts are nice even though I don’t remember their taste but all donuts are nice , the clothes I have never seen since I only have been on the first ground , I heard from no one that there are free chicken nuggets if you climb through the vents and scream “beans beans potatoes potatoes” while playing the Simpsons theme song I hope this helped , by 76 year old man which is a proud. Father of 4 cabbages named Lisa , Ezekiel , Issac and Bertha ….

Great store with everything you could need. Just popped into cafe while husband faffing about. Couldn’t decide on sausage or bacon bap and they let me have both. Banging.

Very big shop and cheap clothes

I am from Australia and I went to ASDA at Merthyr a dozen times or more. All I can say about the staff at ASDA is this, If I had a business dealing with the public I would steal the staff for my own business. Nothing, it seems is too much trouble to them. They are all pleasant and helpful and kind. You may have the best staff in Wales. Pay them more money. Take them out on work days. Give them a bonus. Give them a bigger discount. Say thank you to them. Use them on your TV ads. Just look after them. To everyone a big thank you from me. The one with the funny accent.

I had my shopping delivered today by Andrew! Fairplay he was very helpful and brought my shopping into my house because I got a bad back. What a lovely man.

I rather this store than any were else cose I was the person who mixed all the cement that wat was use to billed place ...

Click & Collect today was a dream. Two gentlemen serving, goods to hand all in carriers. In and out in 5 minutes. Well organised and efficient. Great service...thank you!

Just went to pick up last minute bits for Christmas, all the shelves were fully stocked and it wasn't that busy either was able to park Straight away .
