London Road Studios

Had our first band session at London Road studios... They are set up really well with full back line, good sound insulation, PA and quality equipment... Had a load of fun and made a load of noise! Hope to be back soon. The guys are really responsive and answered all our emails promptly and politely.

Excellent rehearsal and recording facilities. Great sounding rooms, high quality backline at affordable prices.
Have had great results doing drum/band recording in room 6. Have always got a great drum sound!

Great rehearsal rooms, clean and well equipped. Good gear (including the kits & hardware!) and variation of room sizes. Definitely worth checking out.

Great practice studio... On arrival, it's clear how lucky this place was to largely escape a horrendous fire on the estate. The rooms are superbly equipped with top equipment and well thought out design. Sound proofing is amazing. Owner and staff are lovely people too. Cannot fault this place. We're not exactly local but this studio is well worth travelling for.

The guys at London Road are super accommodating and friendly to work with. We have rehearsed and recording with them over the last 18 months and they have been flexible to meet our needs and have always provided any additional equipment we have asked for. From a recording point of view, Max (their engineer) is a delight to work with. He is meticulous but incredibly easy to work with and the results are pretty incredible.

Max did an absolutely brilliant job on my EP. He made the whole process smooth, fun and productive. I was delighted with the standard of the work!! Thank you and I look forward to working with you again in the future!

The absolute BEST studio I have ever been to! I have been going there for about 4-5 years and couldn’t recommend this studio more!

The guys there are an absolute dream, super helpful and accommodating. The recording studio there as well is incredible and the engineers that work there are also amazing at what they do!

If you’re looking for a very affordable practice space that’s got top end equipment, very comfortable and well kept rooms and extremely friendly people not only working there, but who also practice there then I’d 10000% recommend this studio!

Amazing studio! We recorded our album here and the sound is just incredible. The rehearsal rooms are awesome too, not your average muffled dingy dark rehearsal space! Everything is so clear and Rich is extremely helpful. Parking on site and easy to find. Perfect!

The best place to rehearse around. Not only is there everything you need equipment-wise, but the effort has been put into making the rooms comfortable and have atmosphere. On top of that the staff are awesome, friendly and helpful too! Definitely highly recommended.

Simply the best rehearsal space around, great sounding comfortable rooms and facilities easy access and parking and a friendly service. Have been using for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Equipment standard is also decent which you can't always say. Would highly recommend.

My band has been rehearsing at London Road Studios for many years now and we wouldn't go anywhere else (unless we had to!). The team are really friendly, helpful and super knowledgeable. The quality of the studios and equipment is fantastic and always clean and well presented. We also do all of our professional recordings at the studio too! Superb facility with rooms to suit all band sizes. Excellent recording facilities and technically competent staff. Prices very reasonable despite recent increase. Can get busy at peak times (weekday evenings) so book ahead.

Awesome place to record and rehearse, multiple rooms available for different needs all kitted with top end gear. All the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Rooms are also kept nice making a great space for recording any music videos.

London Road Studios is an excellent rehearsal facility. Every rehearsal room is well equipped with highly spec'd backline that is kept in great condition. The rooms are clean and tidy too, which makes for a much more pleasant environment to work in. Richard, the Manager, is also a top guy who understands what bands need and how they operate and he is totally supportive of the local music community. He has been very helpful and accommodating for us in the past which really helped us out of a hole and was very much appreciated. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

These guys are amazing. Fantastic, friendly staff, who are musicians, so they understand musicians and their varying needs. Pro level gear and acoustics in the studio/live room. Well equipped rehearsal rooms, with A/C and heating.

This is a really nice rehearsal studios, every room is well equipped and the sound proofing is excellent.
I’m a drummer, the drum kits are all well maintained, decent stools and hardware is provided so I just take cymbals/snare/sticks. All of the other equipment seems top notch too.

Great studio to record and rehearse at, owned by a fantastic person to work for. Brilliant gear, lovely atmosphere and friendly. Side note - brilliant location, with a Tesco about 30 seconds walk, which is incredibly handy at rehearsals! There's a reason everyone loves Rich!

Awesome studio and really gonna miss practicing at London Road Studios as I have now moved to Norfolk. The quality of the amps and studio equipment is spot on and the sound proofing is really substantial. The place has recently been updated again and it's a really relaxed space to practice in and not too spenny. Keep up the good work Richard and team!!

Well equipped rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else now, tbh. Unless I move to Cornwall, then I might have to reconsider due to journey times. However, very happy to recommend. As long as you don't try to book our favourite room at our regular time, that is. You've been told. 😆
