Been for a lovely walk with the dogs today. To say this is on my door step and never been before is crazy. There is a decent tarmac path around the walk so there is no need to have to walk on the grass unless you want to (we did). Great views of the surrounding area and there is a dial on a plinth which explains what is in which direction. Met loads of dogs which my two loved and made new friends. Plenty of dog poo bins around. Parked in the upper car park and spent around two hours walking here, parking is paid for on way out by card or cash. Will be back again with the dogs soon.

Very nice place to visit.

Acres of open space and maintained trails to peruse, with excellent views from the top of the hill. Clearly marked trail to the top from the lower or upper car parks.

The forested area has a trail for children with carved sculptures.

Can be muddy in the winter so dress for the weather.

Lovely park to explore and different things to see. There are some beautiful paths with trees lining either side and in the autumn it's just perfect. A few cafes dotted around as well, so plenty of places to stop for a coffee. The park is dog friendly, but they recommend having him on the leash in a lot of areas.
Beautiful park with stunning views and I will definitely be coming back.

Beacon Hill is a truly spectacular place offering panoramic views of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, etc.
The Hill itself has wonderful grassland and a top the peak an array of jagged rocks and crevices.

There is a car park on site that you can pay to use should you choose to visit via car. Alternatively there are ample bike and hike routes to get to this place.

I’d highly recommend a visit on a clear day so that you can really appreciate the views you can get from the peak.

Beacon Hill is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year. The history, the natural beauty, the wildlife, the nature, and the sculptures set around the park all make Beacon Hill such a special place. If you like bird watching then this a brilliant place to visit as it has so many different species that call it their home. If you love taking photos then who can snap away for hours here and always have a great shot.
Beautiful walks, a play area, a picnic area and a lovely cafe make Beacon Hill a brilliant spot for all ages. Highly recommend Beacon Hill to anyone.

I've been enjoying walking at Beacon Hill Country Park for many years and it just keeps getting better and better. The views and walking routes are fantastic, well maintained and not muddy when wet conditions. There are 2 decent sized car parks, toilets and a reasonably priced cafe. There is a children's playground and picnic tables. The park has some amazing wood carvings and a Labyrinth to explore. A well signed tree trail is another excellent space to explore.

Great day at Beacon Hill today. There are two car parks and facilities at each one. There's also a café at the lower car park serving hot drinks, cakes, pasties and the like. There are two play parks and lots of amazing sculptures around the site. We enjoyed the blue and red trail walks, looking at the hill fort and newly planted native woodland and the incredible views. Loved seeing the highland cattle and alpacas grazing too!

The views from the top are fantastic, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and of course Loughborough are all in view. The rocky outcrops at the top are great for exploring and the paths are interesting with a variety of plants and animals to see.

One of the best parks in Leicester. Great views, very peaceful and a few nice footpaths to take around the park. It's very similar to Bradgate park in my opinion, which is also very close to this park, you can see it from top of the hill

I love this place it has lovely woodland walks, loads of stuff to keep the kids interested, beautiful pine trees and mature beech trees the paths are good and even provision of tarmac on some parts. When you get to the top of beacon hill the views are amazing , 360 degrees. The cafe is good too lots of pastries cakes toasties and some good vegan options. Car parking you can pay on your card no cash required. Great for a bit of fresh air and nature.

Great spot for a walk, run, light and easy bouldering, or picnic. Plenty of trails throughout, multiple parking locations, and stunning views of Nottingham and Leicester.

There is a cafe at the base car park and toilets at both car park locations. Parking prices are reasonable and perfect for a nighttime stroll.

Beautiful place to visit. Nice views aswell. So peaceful! It was foggy when I visited but that made it all the more quiet and fresh. You could still just about see the views, and I loved it. You could walk around for hours. Different trails to walk on too. Plenty of entrances and parking! Shall visit again to go on a different trail.

Beautiful country park with good facilities, not too large but enough too keep every age occupied. It has ancient history of the rock formation and bronze age settlement. The longhorn cattle grazing in surrounding area make up the early settlers feeling. Easy to ramble and once reaches the summit, one will be rewarded with beautiful panoramic scene.

Such a beautiful place to walk around, loving all the wooden sculptures as well, especially in the Labyrinth, which is on the blue walking route. It makes you feel as though you are in a magical woodland! Some lovely areas to have a picnic and some great history from the bronze age as well, also has toilets.

A wonderful place to walk
Look out for the ignoramuses who don't move aside...this is just bad manners...nothing to do with social distancing!!
Fabulous wood carvings throughout
Just relax and enjoy...maybe take a picnic?
Sculptures now on view from top car park

Fantastic beauty spot with panoramic views of Leicestershire once you reach the top. The weather was as dramatic as this place which only added to the atmosphere. Plenty of space to park with well kept facilities. We will be back!
