I have never once had a bad experience here in the 5 years we've lived in barrow. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and even follow up phone calls when I've had a new med prescribed. I've seen people fly in demanding medication, I'm sorry but the staff are only human and do as much as they can. Treat others as you expect to be treated.

So pleased with the excellent service today in the past have had so many problems but hoping things have turned around . The pharmacy went above and beyond today to enable me to get a prescription from NHS 111 even ensuring I only paid the regular charge for my sons prescription . Really friendly professional service Thankyou I’m hopeful this is the new way of things going forward !!

Since Jackson has worked in the Pharmacy there has a been a real improvement in the service at Barrow. His politeness is second to none and his customer service is impeccable. Prescriptions seem to be ready quicker too. I have heard so many positive comments on Jacksons service.

Super helpful staff who worked hard to quickly source an alternative to my originally prescribed Epipen while the national shortage still continues. Very much appreciative!

The young girl I spoke to over the phone and in person was extremely helpful and polite.

Typical village pharmacy, but they are lovely and very helpful…just not expedient!

Sometimes good, sometimes not good

Very very slow in the shop , every time i come to the shop its either busy and slow service , even if theres one or two people queing painfully weak service

This place is shambolic. Nobody ever answers the telephone. Waiting for a prescription fulfillment is horrendous. Always a queue of disgruntled customers. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for a prescription they have told me there is a huge shortage. I rang another pharmacy this morning who told me there isn't and they have plenty. I now have to get boots to release my prescription so I can get it somewhere else. Let's hope they can get this done. This pharmacy totally lets Barrow health Centre down.

I don’t know how this place is still opened as a pharmacy. The service is ridiculous. The wait times are ridiculous. They can’t even bother to answer a phone call. 10 calls later and all it does it ring. I’ve not had 1 good encounter with their service yet and it’s been 5 years! I end up having to transfer prescriptions over to Loughborough just to get them in time! No one should have to leave the village feeling unwell just to get medications in order for us to get better.

its a shame there isnt a setting for zero stars. my wife signed up for text allerts for when her prescriptions are in . she had one today but to be extra sure she rang the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist gentleman who checked and said yes mrs batts both yourt prescriptions are in. My wife drives to the chemist to be then told only 1 of the items are in and youll have to come back another day , absolute shambles . we both work full time and unlike other members of society we dont sit on our behinds all day and have all the time in the world . awful service.
