Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel

We stayed here visiting family in Corby, the staff were kind and chatty and helpful, there wasn't many staying so we got a hand cooked breakfast in the morning (which would usually be a buffet) the room was large with a bath for a great price. We went to the nearby weather spoons in the evening and the only slight downside is the somewhat dangerous feeling walk down the slim path next to a very busy road, so perhaps drive if you can.

We stayed here whilst attending Greenbelt festival. Convenient location and great rooms. Breakfast food as well.

This hotel was an alternative choice recommended by a hotel booking app.although it was further away from my work location and a 30 minute drive to and from work it's a really nice hotel.the staff are very helpful and pleasant and the rooms are spacious and bright and clean.flat screen TV and a shower over the bath.the restaurant is well laid out and very well organised with a good if not basic menu.that being said the food is delicious.

Attended a conference last week at venue. We were well looked after, good lunch and training rooms all in good order. Would recommend for training and event purposes can cater for 150 delegates.

Went to a wedding here and booked a room. Very reasonable price for a very nice room. Staff were nice and polite.
Only downside was the humongous pot hole on the entrance to the car park which made me feel like I had driven into a large well. Luckily it didn't damage my car but I hope it's fixed soon.

Second time me and my partner have stayed here, we were in a newly refurbished room which was amazing, done to a very high standard. Had both a bath and shower as well as air conditioning. The food here is to die for! Staff are amazing, very friendly, nothing is too much trouble.

Really impressed with how they were handling all the new procedures with the current pandemic. Sanitiser available at reception upon entering. Really can't recommend this place enough. Can't fault it;

Kayleigh organised a sympathy buffet following my father's funeral. She and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful. The dinning room was very nice, large very clean and well decorated. The food and service were very good. Kayleigh and the team made a sad day much easier. My thanks to them

Stayed here many times with a group of dancing friends and it never fails to deliver. Food excellent, hot and plentiful. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped with (very) hot water, comfortable bed and fluffy towels. The staff are friendly and helpful from check in to check out, nothing is too much trouble for them. Already booked again for April 2020

Due to Còvid19 hot breakfast was not available but the bag of breakfast goodies delivered to our room was more than adequate with all items individually wrapped

We had such a lovely stay.. initially a 1 night stay.. a gift voucher from relatives... after a poor experience in London recently, we were enjoying the facilities and customer service here from the start. The reception and public areas are light, spacious and clean. When we entered the room we noticed 4 uht full fat milk on tray... we asked a member of staff cleaning the room opposite if we could swap to semi skimmed .. she didn't bat an eyelid and went to get us replacements. The room was large, airy and well equipped (including a proper nespresso coffee makingI machine and pods). After we checked in a large party of line dancers checked in for the weekend, we were advised to avoid 6.00-7 30 for dinner in restaurant, the restaurant usually opens at 6.30, but 7.30 is too late for us to eat for a number of reasons.. we explained these to Claire on reception who spoke to the Chef and we were so grateful he allowed us to to eat early at 5 30.. so for much of our meal we had the dining room to ourself .. the Chef himself came our to serve hubby's sticky toffee pudding and was very engaging and friendly.. when we thanked him for serving us early he said they will try to accommodate requests when asked. The food was delicious! During the evening we realised both that we needed an extra pillow each and that because we were enjoying stay so much we'd like to stay longer.. I spoke to Carmen on reception.. she bought extra pillows to our room and facilitated an extra night at a very reasonable rate, so we stayed an extra night! Breakfast is self service.. has a selection of hot foods.. bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushrooms, beans, tomato, hash browns, fried bread, cereals, bread for toasting. With a range of jams and other toast toppings (separate gluten free choices and toaster) plus a variety of fruit and fruit juices. My only disappointment was there was not a continental choice of hams and cheeses or pastries, the only eggs were fried with no scrambled or poached options and there was only 'milk'.. with no varieties.. we prefer skimmed.. but can easy take semi-skimmed .. but it would be great if hotel could offer a range.. although.. if asked I'm sure they could cater for all needs and intolerances. Having said that we enjoyed breakfast and it set us up for long walks around Eyebrook reservoir, very close by and with stunning scenery! Nothing seemed too much trouble.. when we asked for anything it was delivered or sorted promptly with a smile.... it didn't seem like we were creating an issue at all. Would totally recommend this hotel and will stay again as we want to visit Rockingham Castle! Well done and thank you Rockingham Forest Hotel staff!

Was the weekend of coranation, town treamed up, lot's of shop's still opened, was good day, hotel and staff was brilliant 💯 percent, room's was over looking the gardens,went walking round the grounds after my breakfast, will certainly come back again

The staff were so helpful. We had a problem with one room and the heating didn't work, we went to reception and they quickly moved my great auntie to another room. She made sure she was still next to her sister and brought a deaf guard for her as he can't hear. The rooms where very clean and once we had switched rooms very warm too. The food was good and the hotel was nice and clean throughout. The experience was very good and would recommend to other people

The only one small issue was one of the bar staff but the lovely lady in charge of the bar sorted it out .

Went for evening meal with our friends who are staying there. It looks a great place, the service was very good and the food delicious. It seems a good place to go. Plenty of parking and disabled parking too.

We recently used the hotel for our wedding venue.. the staff couldn’t do enough for us from checking in the day before until leaving the following day . The reception staff to the the wedding coordinators they were all amazing! I’d like to thank Kayleigh and Jane for ensuring our day ran smoothly without a hitch .. they were so professional and caring ensuring that myself and my wife were happy with everything. Also the food we choose for the day and the evening was absolutely beautiful! All of our guests were catered for and everyone commented on how lovely it all was . Thank you to all the hotel staff for making our day so special! We would definitely recommend to any couple looking to book a wedding with you .

Stayed here while attending a funeral with my husband. The girl who checked us in was very welcoming and pleasant she gave us an upgrade to a suite which was most comfortable. The breakfast was everything you would hope for juice, fruit, cereal, sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tea, coffee, toast and pastries.
We also returned to the hotel after the funeral and had lovely soup and roll, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cake, tea and coffee. Considering this was a very sad occasion this hotel played their part in making it less painful.

Had a really good weekend break. Decided to upgrade on the room and was not disappointed. Very modern and large room with ample space and access to outside garden. Highly recommend the room service in both time and quality of food

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights superb sized room the evening meal & breakfasts were fantastic with something for everyone, housekeeping even tidied our room totally unexpected as we had left a bombsite getting ready for a family wedding we attended locally such a nice suprise! All staff from reception to housekeeping staff were very welcoming thank you so much!

Having to stay there for nearly 2 weeks on a works course it was perfect food was excellent through from the help yourself breakfast . . bunch lunch and a menu for the pm dinner . . Beds we're comfortable and rooms have plenty of space. . . We used 3 different function room all good but I think what made the place was the excellent staff. .
