Lovely location great for walking. Sailing the beach area is good. Excellent water park inflatables. We are very lucky in Melton to have this lovely location

Beautiful place to walk and relax. A few different walks. Mini golf and a little adventure playground. Harbour cafe very good.

An amazing place with plenty to do and see, and if your up to it and have the time you can walk the whole lake but it's about 5 hour walk, or you can did and crossed by boat and walked back 😀

If you are down this way this place is well worth a visit. Great for cycling/walking or a picnic.

Such a lovely place that we just love visiting, lovely scenery, great prices and amazing staff, such as Amber who was great with my daughter Grace as she made her Ice Cream.

One negative with the food in the shop....Get rid of the vegan cheese and pickle sandwiches 😉

A great place to spend a few hours or the whole day. From the 12 hole mini golf, outdoor laser tag, The Aqua park, renting sailing boats, Sups & kayaks. Book a trip on the Rutland Belle, which is well worth the price, my grandkids enjoyed being on the water watching the windsurfers. Then there's the beach, a great place to bring the kids to play on the sand and have a paddle. All yr round there's plenty to do here.

Beautiful parks with a small man-made beach, great park for walking. Can rake bar b q and picnic. Cafe and toilets on sight. Great for large families.

A nice place for walking, cycling and watersports and it's very dog friendly including the harbour cafe. There is plenty of car parking which is all pay on exit around the reservoir and in warmer weather most have a small takeaway/icecream shop. If you park at Whitwell you can also hire a bicycle.

Great place for cycling or walking round the resovoir. Many places to stop for refreshments!! Good sailing from the sailing club.

Sun has gone in but still so warm l. The families here are still playing, build sand castles and going in the wager there's life guards walking up and down. Very tidy place. Such a beautiful place to come and relax.

Amazing place! My Son, my grandson and myself spent a few days at Rutland Water. My son cycled round and my grandson and and I walked round looking at all the different birds and especially the Osprey’s. We were lucky enough be be at Rutland when the young Osprey chick fledged. All the staff were very helpful and informative even when they had finished for the day, they were all very enthusiastic and they wanted to make our visit as welcoming as possible. One guy, George helped us from the moment we got there. George was very excited and enthusiastic when my grandson was asking questions about the Ospreys, George shared his knowledge which made our day better than we had expected. We booked the evening Osprey boat trip which was fantastic and we were lucky enough to have George on board with us. All the crew were great and they created a great atmosphere on the boat giving everyone lots of information and spotting interesting sites to look at especially the Osprey’s. They had banter between them which made everyone feel relaxed. The crew were very professional and responsive to anyones questions, it was a great day and if you get the chance to go to Rutland Water you won’t be disappointed especially if you take the boat trip too … it made our day really special. Rutland Water is great to visit, very clean with lots of interesting things to do and see. Thank you to you all, especially George.
