Chalet 18 Channel View Bideford Bay Holiday Park

Parkdean is great for whatever holiday you require. A great base to explore from, lots to do on site or, a great place to just sit and relax. Be aware it is very hilly, but the views are great. All the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. Great food in the manor house at reasonable prices.

We had an amazing holiday here.
Central to everywhere we wanted & we bought our 2 dogs.
The holiday was just what we needed to restart ourselves.

Perfect chalet for Visiting Bideford, Instow, Appledore, westward Ho and Bude,
We found everything we needed for our stay,The dog walking field only a short walk away, lots of walks if you enjoy hiking.

We stayed at number 16 Channel View and it was a nice holiday on a well catered for park.

We were in 14, not 18. Chalet was immaculate. Only downside is its really hilly so not ideal with pushchairs or if you have mobility issues. My kids forgot their swimming costumes and attempted to go in a t-shirt and shorts but wasn't allowed in unless they had a costume, they sell them onsite but for £20 a pop your better off driving down the road to the shops. Also we saved up all our arcade tickets to cash in on the last day, but check out was at 10am and staff weren't in the arcade until 6.30pm and although the kiosk was right there the staff refused to cash in the tokens so we came home with them, and some disappointed kids. 😞 foods pricy, cost us £75 on the first night for 4 burgers and 3 kids meals, we only ate there once. Entertainment wasn't the best, my 9 year old was bored after 10 minutes, but they loved the playground. All in all had a really nice time and would go again.

Decent chalet very clean need more amenities on site quite a drive or walk to nearest beach good place if you like walking very hilly

Lots to do on site. Food excellent.

All in all ok. Beds are not very comfortable and cushions are awful as they seem to was them and then clump up. Parking areas have stones to keep your vehicle off the lawn but so low that you can't see or sensors can't pick them up I scratched my car but at least their lawn is ok!

Foods disgusting and extremely expensive.
