Good showers but a bit of a trek from the main campsite. Very clean especially the more modern toilets.
Grass was a tad long and really got the feet wet with the early morning dew. But otherwise fantastic although a bit pricey for October.

Fab campsite for walkers! Big site but not crowded at all and very calm and quiet. Managed to get a flat and sheltered spot for our tent. Was a bit dubious about the toilets, when you approach are an arrangement of sheds but then you go in and it's really modern and clean - they even had music playing!! There's a common room barn type area with comfortable sofas, charging points, kettle, microwave, plus some bits and bobs like coffee and cups for walkers. The showers were clean and warm. Staff were friendly. The views from the campsite were amazing - we saw a beautiful sunset. And it's only a 20 minute walk if that from the coast path.

Lovely campsite, beautiful walks a great views. We had some lovely walks. Toilets are spotless, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. We had electric hook up and firepits are also allowed you can hire them. We brought our own. We also saw the most amazing sunset while there. Would highly recommend this site. Not a lot for kids there, though.

We had a great time in this campsite. The staff are kind and friendly, facilities like toilets and showers are clean and well managed. But more than anything, the space!

This campsite has enough land space that you don’t have to be right next to your neighbors like in many other campsites. There are great hiking trails and the sea view is very nice too. Highly recommend and we’d love to visit again!

Colin runs an awesome place here - I rocked up at 7pm, having booked an hour before. He guides me to a massive field with 3 other groups pitched. I have a whole half of the beautiful, sea-facing, sunset-kissed field to myself. Facilities are excellent, warm showers, clean and abundant wash and toilet areas. Sleepy village and the cherry on top - Hartland Quay a 10min walk. Excellent scampi & chips, pint of Cornish Gold and views for absolutely miles. Didn’t have time for the waterfall but saving that for the next visit. Stunning, thanks guys

This touring park is situated about 2 miles from Hartland Village and 1 mile from Hartland Quay. The scenery is amazing with views of the sea on one aspect and the beautiful Abbey valley leading up to Hartland on one side and the Speakes Valley on the other. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the only rules are appropriate for a working farm. We picked this site as we were visiting family in the village, also the owners are long time friends. The toilets and washing up facilities were clean and comfortable. We did not need to use the showers as we had our own. The shop on site is not currently operating, but grocery delivery and takeaways can be arranged with shops in the village. Fire pits are provided for those wishing to use them, but barbecues on the ground are forbidden.

Great location and friendly staff. They helped us to organise a cake with a local baker for my son's birthday and gave us tips for the area. It's perfectly placed for cliff walks and we had a lovely walk along the coast . After a busy Cornwall in crowded sites, this was a tonic.

This site is is great for those who want to be in a beautiful location, without the hustle and bustle of a glamping site with saunas, juice bars, etc. It's on a large farm so there is ample space, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The camp shop was closed during my visit so I can't comment on it but I had more than enough supplies that I didn't require anything. I chose the field with the best view of the sea and while it got pretty windy during my stay, tent noise is a small price for me to pay for waking up to that view. You get a great sunset if the weather allows it, the toilet block was clean, sturdy and well maintained and there was a sink for washing dishes and a drinking water tap, which is pretty much all I need from a campsite. I didn't spend much time exploring the campsite itself as I spent most of my time by the sea but there is a perfectly decent shower block by the main farmhouse with some extra toilets, and I believe that each field has a small toilet block - one men's and one women's- with a sink for dishes and a drinking water tap. In short, I had peace and quiet, with fantastic views, access to some really striking coastline on a very decent campsite with friendly owners. Its' got pretty reasonable access to the coastal path too; you can head up towards Hartland Quay, or the other way towards Speke's Mill waterfall. I stayed two nights, arriving around 8pm on Tuesday 4th July and leaving about 2pm on Thursday 6th July. Apart from two small groups arriving on the 6th as I was heading out, I had the whole of the top field to myself. I'd definitely stay again when I'm next in the area, and would highly recommend.

We were walking the south west coastal path and called the camp site that day to see if we could drop into the site for the night?
They couldn't have been more accommodating! We got told they would always have room for walkers.
We arrived around 6pm and were met with a real friendly vibe, the facilities were great, showers lovely and hot and the information room/ chilling room was just what we needed after a long day walking the coastal path, even had the privilege of watching the swallows feeding their babies in the rafters.

Would recommend to anyone especially hikers.

Haven't even stayed the night yet and I feel so welcome, everythings is well maintained and so far I'm really impressed. I think if we ever find out selves around here for another holiday this would be my first place to look.

Easy access to pitches, smooth ground and lovely people.

Couldn’t have been lovelier. Stayed for just a night and they happily took us in and gave us a spot with a sea view despite being busy. Very reasonably priced, nice facilities - will be back!

Fantastic rural rustic campsite. All the facilities in lovely farm buildings. Spotlessly clean! Hot showers & hot water for washing up. Nice little touches with pictures & the radio playing in the toilets. We turned up on spec as we were out of season. Rang the doorbell ans although I has disturbed the lady's tea she couldn't have been more helpful. Brilliant walk across the campsite and on the coast path to The Wreckers pub & Hartland Quay (about a mile). Lovely church, St Nectans, round the corner definitely worth a visit.

Me and my friend stopped here whilst walking the south west coast path! The welcome we received was so friendly! The facilities are amazing, there's a small barn with a kettle, microwave, freezer, bench and a sofa.

The showers and toilets are a little basic but they are clean and functional. The laundrette was a life save and the shop was very well stocked and so reasonably priced.

The views from the top field were also incredible, we would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone walking the path!

OK it's a campsite, what can you review on a camp site. Well camping has moved on since I was a kid and the demand for not just a bucket is high. So Stoke Barton Farm Campsite, why a 5? It's a working farm a massive amount of space to pitch your tent, camper van or whatever you have. Yes we went in the off season which meant everyone that was there had space. The top field which had landed in had a small toilet block with a wash area for you pots and pans. These were clean & tidy, pipping hot water and music ti relax you while doing your chores. Back down towards the main office was the showers. Very basic men's show block, can't comment on the female ones 🤣. Now I can see how some people out there may have a pop at them but, one they had pipping hot water, clean and they did the job. They remained me of my old military accommodation days🤣. Basically after all my waffle, it's a great campsite. A fantastic location, very reasonable on price and its a working farm also which is great.

High recommend, especially if you are walking the SW coastal path. Really lovely campsite. Friendly and welcoming. Great amenities with lounge area that has a kettle and microwave! Good shower area too. Very clean and lush soft grass to set up tent on. Couldn’t fault it and excellent price!

What a fantastic campsite. Colin is the friendliest site owner that I have ever met. He asked us if all was okay everyday. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the one of the fields, and offered a few pitches. The toilets are spotless, the shop stocked essentials. Nice private coastal walk down to Hartland quay. Fantastic sunset. Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely campsite. There aren't that many pitches with electricity so if your happy without its excellent. The facilities on site are kept very clean and tidy. There's a site shop which is really good and has most things.

The main asset of this site is the views, which are stunning from most of the site. You can also walk down to Hartland Quay which is a really nice little place.

All in all a lovely site that we've been back to a number of times.

Absolutely stunning place with amazing pitches with views `to die for!` The owners couldn't be more pleasant to deal with and are very helpful. The facilities are very clean. The radio playing various cool stations in the toilets and washing up rooms is a great bonus. There is a very nice playing area for kids. The whole Campsite has great atmosphere, is quiet with massive pitches (the biggest we have ever seen) and is walking distance to beautiful beaches, quay, church, well stocked shop on site. Highly recommend and will be back one day.

A lovely quiet and peaceful campsite, expansive views across to Lundy and the Welsh coastline.
Toilet and shower blocks very clean and tidy.
There’s a shop to get essentials and a nearby village.
You can hire fire pits and buy bags of wood or use your own.
Very dog friendly as the pitch’s are around the perimeter of the field which leaves acres of space for dogs to run and play.
There are electric hookup’s on some of the pitches if required.
You can walk across the fields from the campsite to Hartland quay and the local pub, a bit steep on the return trip.
All things taken into consideration it’s a lovely place to spend some time.
I for one will be returning along with my Collie Jess who enjoyed the freedom and open spaces.

Wonderful campsite, great well-kept facilities, warm showers, laundry room, complementary tea and coffee supplies for coast path walkers. Very friendly owners and nice little shop and local produce. Shop caters for vegans and veggies with local pasties and snacks.
