Simla restaurant and cocktail Bar

Working locally so a few of went here last night, found it by your reviews on here.
This place is really good, wonderful food and service. Highly recommended!
I had the chefs taster platter, really good!

The most delicious food and beautifully presented. I fully recommend the Lamb Gucci Korma from the chef speciality menu.
The staff were so friendly and attentive, treating us like family and very welcoming.
I'm only sad that I live 90 miles away so won't be able to visit very often.

Blown away by this superb restaurant. All four of us had delicious, beautifully presented meals. Will definitely be back. Nothing too much bother and well looked after by all staff, especially Rej and 'handsome' behind the bar!

This is a fantastic place to have delicious Indian cuisine. The taste is awesome and authentic. Great value for the money spent. Staff gives great service and tip well deserved. Will definitely come again next time when I am in Birmingham close to the airport and NEC fairgrounds.

I have been to Simla twice for birthday celebrations and cannot fault them one bit. Had amazing experiences both times. I have been to many fine dining restaurants but this place is brilliant for their service and food. Everything on the menu tastes so good. We were provided with complimentary food and drinks on both birthdays just because it was a celebration. Such a lovely surprise unannounced unlike most restaurants who will make you bring your own candles. All the staff are absolutely amazing, really friendly and funny. I have never spoken so highly of a restaurant before and I think the staff make it more of an amazing experience. 100% recommended to everyone and will be coming back again.

Absolutely love this place. The smoking cocktail was awesome and the food as always beautifully presented and tastes even better than it looks. 200 miles for a perfect Indian meal, worth every minute spent in traffic!

We stayed at the Hilton hotel nearby and decided that the food on offer at the hotel looked boring. I found Simla on Google maps and was so happy I did. The food was simply amazing and every dish was spot on.

The service was great and we felt looked after. If I didn't live 150 miles away then I'd visit here again soon. We will be back if we're at an exhibition nearby again.

Well worth a visit if you would prefer not eating the hotel food.

Visiting family in the area. We were a big party of about 14. Food was outstanding, possibly the best curry I’ve had. Staff are very attentive without being over powering, also a very friendly funny bunch of guys. Really good night out. Def recommend.

First time I visited absolutely brilliant place food and service is amazing

Amazing! I visited Simla when my company was exhibiting at the Food & Drink show in NEC Birmingham. We loved it so much that we returned on the second evening. The food is excellent and very well priced. I ordered the lamb chops as a starter and korma as the main course - both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place for an authentic Indian meal. The staff were very friendly too! Lovely ambience also.

Went to go and a meal, but the restaurant was full with live entertainment. So waited for a take away instead.
Absolutely outstanding food quality...Birmingham always offers the best Balti's in my tastes 👏👏👏👍.
Also the price is so favorable to the rest of the country 🙌
Sorry couldn't give you better marks for the atmosphere, but didn't stay as it was full.
Would recommend to anyone visiting the area 👍
