Stayed here for three nights in May as a base for some leisure cycling. It’s a lovely little campsite in a peaceful rural location just a few miles from Coleshill in North Warwickshire, and near to Kingsbury water park. It’s also on the 31 mile North Warwickshire ‘red’ cycle route. The site has a mix of hard standing and grass pitches but currently no electric hook-ups. The owner, Eddie, is friendly and welcoming and reckons that these should be installed for the summer season. The facilities – shower / WC and washroom are kept clean and tidy and even have a selection of essentials if required. There is only one shower / WC for each sex which could mean a wait if the site is busy – I didn’t have any problems during my stay though. I’d be more than happy to stay again, it’s so much nicer than some industrial scale campsites I’ve been to.

Quiet, tranquil, clean and well laid out campsite. Fair pricing and friendly owners. Nice pub and reservoir just down the road (15mins walk) for a stroll and a pint.

The only improvement I could say would be additional toilets/showers as only 1 per sex currently.

Absolutely spot on little site, was made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the owner. All facilities were well kept and extremely clean, great little BBQ and seating areas. Fresh fruit and fresh eggs free for the taking in the kitchen area as well as shampoo/shower gel in for use, leaflets about local things to do as well as business cards advertising things locally including taxis and takeaways all on show. They have honestly thought about everything!! Was informed of all the local amenities including 2 great little pubs serving great beer and great food, both within a 5 min drive of the site. I really couldn’t recommend this site any more highly, amazing area and very picturesque with some great local walks including around the Shustoke reservoir only 10 min walk away. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I come to this area. Well done guys on the site, it’s fantastic!!

Why is there not 10 stars here? This is the best CL I have ever been to. I don’t think I’ve ever been to one with toilets, showers and washing up facilities, let alone, a BBQ and picnic area. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating to all their visitors, above and beyond any other experiences I have had. I think this is going to be a regular pitch for us. Well done to Eddie and family for all your hard work, you are amazing. Thanks Alison, Vince Murphy and Max the dog.

Absolutely brilliant stay at Yew Tree. Campsite was clean, facilities brilliant, saw the best sunrise in a good few years. Eddie is such a good down to earth guy. Couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely surroundings and close by shops and pubs. Will definitely be going back. Thanks for making us so welcome Eddie 👍

What a lovely campsite! This tranquil site is small but perfectly formed! It has a nice large toilet and shower for the ladies and gentlemen to use with free hot water, pitches are mainly on hard standing and are level with large grass area for each one. And the views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking. As for the staff, Eddie is a very pleasant, fun, man who will do almost anything to make your stay perfect including providing freebies in the shower/washing area. There is also a large seating area and bbq for guests to use. We have only come for a long weekend, but may well be coming again many times.

Local amenities include a dog walk from the site out into the fields, and local pub within walking distance with a short drive taking you to Coleshill and its many shops and pubs.

All in all well worth a visit.

Found a lovely little gem of a place here and it’s adults only!! Peaceful tranquility 😊 love the quirkiness of the shower and toilet block fantastic set up here ! Great communication from Harry as they let us set up our caravan early as we had to go into work till late then came straight over ! Eddy is a very pleasant guy couldn’t fault the place ! 20 minute walk to nearest pub the plough and a lovely walk around Shustoke Reservoir ! Shall definitely be coming back 😊

I stayed over night just me, my motorcycle, tent and gear really impressed with how calm and relaxed the site is very clean and respectable and all the other campers there were quiet and friendly, just perfect if you want to escape the usual daily madness and spend the night out in the open and cook a bit of grub and a few cups of tea so if that's your thing it's ideal. Eddie the owner seems a very genuine guy happy to help if there was anything I needed so very pleased overall and will be coming back again soon👍

Stayed one night on Saturday 6th April - Top Drawer! Would highly recommend *****
Fabulous evening - great location; excellent ‘spotlessly clean’ facilities; and stunning views. Eddie was the host with the most, he couldn’t have been more helpful, informative and even jump started our van. Will definitely be returning.

Myself and a few friends had the pleasure of spending the weekend at this cosy campsite! It was an extremely hot weekend, but we were camped near trees, so had a bit of shade! It wasn’t regimented, like some campsites, so we were allowed to put our tents up however we wanted, in our allotted area, which was good. Eddie, the owner, even let us borrow his barbecue for the weekend, as it was too dry and dangerous for the small barbecues. The toilets/showers, were kept very clean, and although there were only two, each a wet room, it was fine, because the site is small. There are plans to build more though! There was a drinking water tap, which had plenty of use, as it was so hot! There is a small superstore just a few minutes drive away, which was very handy, and although we didn’t leave the site, there is a good pub within walking distance!
I would recommend this site to anyone wanting to camp in this beautiful area!

Wonderful campsite, stayed for a night with my girlfriend. The hospitality was impeccable, we were told about pubs and attractions nearby and the owner even brought us a cup of tea in the morning and left the heater on in the the toilets incase we got cold and wanted to warm up. The toilet/shower block was very clean and tidy and relevant and helpful leaflets.

All in all a very nice place to stay, I would love to go again and stay longer

Yew tree farm is a great location for a quiet stay. It is well kept, Eddie is a great host. The welfare facilities are top class. The nearby pub the Plough, has great real ales and fantastic food. We had the steaks. 10marks. Trev & Liz.

We stayed at Yew tree just for one night to test out a newly purchased trailer tent. The owner was very helpful and hospitable. It's a cracking little sight and we will definitely be going back for a longer stay toilets and showers are very clean and tidy as is the rest of the sight. Top marks to the owners.

Just got home from a short break at Yew Tree Cottage to try our new camper van. What a lovely quiet site & Eddie ( the owner) is a star & so friendly. After a problem with our diesel heater & waking up to the inside of the windows frozen a very kind couple lent us an electric heater & when we mentioned it to Eddie he said we should of told him...he'd have given us some coal lol!!!!. Seriously though what a lovely gesture was a bowl of fruit for you to help yourself to another good idea was the tin openers, bottle openers small bottles of soap, shampoo in case you've forgotten to bring your own. Keep up the good work Eddie. We would definitely return.

Eddie is a star. Very helpful and friendly. Site is small and spotless. The only thing to comment on, and it's a personal thing, is that the large wet room was was a bit chilly for me. However, we would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it. The Union canal was worth a visit if you like lots of locks, and Kenilworth castle was a good day out. Close to Birmingham for the bullring shopping, and visiting Stratford upon Avon.

A real diamond of a place! Laid back, quiet, dog friendly, large pitches. The owner has thought of everything, nothing is too much trouble for him! Fresh fruit and eggs free in the washing area, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, spotlessly clean. Love it!

What an awesome site. Eddie is the best. Helping out de-stressed broken down caravaners. Recommending a great pub 4 mins walk away. Facilities to die for, showers, toilets, BBQ area, beautiful well kept gardens to sit on the lovely red bench. And Eddie makes a great cup of coffee . You could not want more. We want to go back just for the peace and quiet. Though we only live an hour away.
