Backstitch

A Christmas present of my grandchildren, then to realise I was to make for them ha ha. An easy to follow pattern and instructions(tips were really useful). I'm sure I will be making more. Serged pocket edges to give a patchwork feel, these are for my granddaughter Daisy who is 2 and has her very own style.

I ordered 4 fat quarters. Whiskers quilting fabrics by Makower, with cats on them, lovely colours and pretty designs if you love cats like I do. They arrived really quickly in paper packaging, no plastic. I'm very pleased. Thankyou Backstitch

Your" Vilene 2V308: EasyFuse Light" saved a favourite old coat where the lining kept splitting all over . I am not great at sewing so my repair would not win a prize but it works. see pic. I pinned, tacked two pieces on to the lining. And then ironed it on..had the iron a bit too hot initially but it sticks at recommended low temperature. I then hemmed around the edges . Such a huge success. EasyFuse Light is as light as tissue paper. I had been quoted an impossible amount to have it professionally relined. Many many thanks.

One of my favourite fabric stores. Stocks fabrics for many uses including quilting dressmaking and a lovely selection of haberdashery. It’s also set with in Burwash manor where you can grab some food in the cafe and mooch around the farm shop definitely worth a visit if your in the area

Very fast, trouble free process. Beautiful wooden buttons in 3 sizes and excellent colour match. I am impressed and will be coming back for other items in the future.

Backstitch is more than a shop it’s a community - not only do they stock everything you could possibly need for your creative projects yarns fabrics stitching macrame haberdashery and lots more they have really helpful knowledgeable staff and classes run by really amazing tutors. Also if you can’t make it to their shop ( I highly recommend a trip !!) they do mail order too what’s not to love. 🤩

I love Backstitch! Great shop with good range of both fabric and wool, I can always find something I HAVE to have :-) Great for gifts - and they do vouchers too.

So good.! Lots of help & advice when selecting the appropriate fabric for a project & for the kit/tools for attaching snappers on a kiddies outfit. All the items I needed were there and it's a well stocked shop and has a wide cross section of lovely fabrics & wools to choose from! Well worth a visit or ordering online!

Excellent! I ordered early morning on the 20th October and it was dispatched the same day and arrived the next day. I can start my project earlier than expected. I definitely will order from them again.

My order for a purple zip, thread and interfacing arrived by post this morning. Thank you very much for such a very speedy service. I phoned yesterday to discuss the colour of the two reels of thread and both colours are perfect - the dark blue dark but not too dark and the purple matches the zip. Wonderful service.
