First time I’ve been in over 20 years. I was not disappointed, the food was lovely!
Staff were very attentive and service was excellent. We had a great evening and won’t be leaving it as long to return.

I visited the Robin Hood Inn for a wreath making class with a group of friends. The package was £65 and included a welcome tea/coffee and mince pie, wreath making class, glass of Prosecco and a two course lunch. Superb experience. The stuff were friendly and welcoming, the wreath making was brilliant and the food was of a high standard. Would recommend.

After two gruelling days walking the Hadrians wall path from Brampton we decided to call the Robin Hood Inn our final destination. And what a good call it was. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and washed down perfectly with some good local beers.
We camped in their field and thoroughly enjoyed our stop here.

We came for Sunday lunch and the service was incredible.
We will be returning next Sunday we loved it that much! Food is amazing and staff and service just as good! Nice area out the back too for my little boy to have a run around before home ☺

Brilliant. A fine British pub, great at being a fine British pub! Great beer, honest hearty & really tasty food, with superb helpful & friendly service. Good mix of diners & locals, giving a great atmosphere. What else can you possibly need. Cheers 🍻

I had 2 visits within 20 days. Both times tasty food, large portions so go hungry. Fish and chips in garden first visit. Second visit raining so inside. 2 starts abated between 3, terrine and prawn cocktail. Main courses steak, game pie and I had a burger. All enjoyed.

Friendly, speedy service, also open kitchen.

Good atmosphere, large pub.

Lovely meal and great service - did notice as we are participating in dry January that the price of pop was expensive

Stopped for Sunday lunch, hadn't booked it but managed to get a table. A very warm welcome and was shown to my table.
My drink order was taken a little too quickly as I'd just sat down! I opted for the slow cooked shredded lamb and got loads of it. Accompanied with an array of veg, roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding, I also piled on extra roast parsnips (delicious but not needed). It arrived smothered in gravy, which I love but some may prefer a jug to pour themselves.
The food arrived quickly on a warm plate and everything piping hot.
A very enjoyable Sunday lunch but sadly no room for a dessert.
Would recommend but also book to avoid disappointment.

Just had the 12oz gammon steak with eggs and chips followed by the apple and blueberry crumble. Absolutely outstanding food, with brilliant service in a lovely pub with a good array of beers. I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work.

Stayed over 31/3 as we were attending a wedding close by. The pub had a nice homely feel as soon as you entered. The rooms are beautiful, had everything you needed. Breakfast the next morning was a 10/10 our only regret was not staying longer to have dinner. The best part of it all was the service, friendly, welcoming and very attentive. Even helped one of the guests out with a hair disaster! Thank you and we cant wait to return to try your sunday dinners!

A beautiful and stylish inn. We had booked a log cabin for us and a tent for our son, but it had been raining and the kind staff at Robin Hood Inn took pity on us and offered us a deal on a room for our son and a room in the hotel for us too. Our gorgeous, spacious room had a bath - the only one during our Hadrian's Wall walk - just perfect after a long day's walk! Dinner at the inn was traditional pub fare - my sea bass was lovely. A perfect place to relax and revive ourselves.

Beautiful area of the country. Nice big pub. Serves food. Book or go early on a Sunday as it's very popular for lunch. Nice garden to sit in, plenty of parking. Was a little sad that they changed their on tap cider

A bit off the main road but all the better for it. Staff very friendly and the food great, well worth a visit. I had the pie with homemade mushy peas.

The 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal out for my wife’s birthday. Friendly staff in a lovely environment with fresh hearty homemade food. The steak and ale pie was delicious, with crumbly yet crunchy pastry and crispy fries. Our teenage kids enjoyed their steak burgers and my wife’s pork dish was absolutely delicious! We all washed our meals down with a moreish sticky toffee pudding and left feeling pleasantly full and very content. Great job guys and we will definitely be back 👍🏻

Great place to sit in the sunny back garden for a beer. We didn't eat this time but last time we ate here the food was lovely. We cycled here from a local campsite. Friendly staff.

Nice friendly staff who are helpful and polite.

Been three times now and while not all of the menu choices have been available everything we've had has been good.

Decent value.

Free parking.
