My partner and I came straight from London to savor the delights of this great pub, offering exquisite Mediterranean dining, a splendid wine selection, and a diverse array of top-notch beers. The cozy ambiance, meticulous attention to detail, and ample space make it an ideal spot for gathering with friends, family, or colleagues. What sets this place apart is the evident passion of the Greek family who run it. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Fabulous food and cocktails. A lot of the food had Greek flavours and addition which gave a lot of freshness to your ordinary steak dinner. The portions are very generous and you will for certain go away with a full stomach. Whole place is very tidy, tables are set and the environment is quaint and old fashioned. Would definitely eat here again!

We really enjoyed our visit to Jekyll and Hyde. I had the chicken skewer and it was delicious. Others had ribs, a burger and there was a kiddies chicken nuggets. We also had a humus dip and tzatziki dip starter and they were very tasty. The salads that accompanied the meal were also good. The restaurant is well maintained, beautifully decorated and clean. The outside area is wonderful and has a play area.

We loved the Greek food - especially the starters (feta in filo with honey and sesame drizzle, and tempura prawns). Big portions. Excellent service. Fantastic flavours. Quiet mid week when we visited, but busy at weekends. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Myself and my other half had a roast lunch at this very charming pub today and it was fantastic! They managed to fit us in at very short notice. Big portions, superb food, very friendly staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Amazing atmosphere, all decked out ready for Christmas. I will definitely be coming back to sample other items on the menu!

The Jekyll and Hyde is one of the best places to eat in Basingstoke, if not the best. Lovely atmosphere, and the food is always top notch. The pork ribs I had last Saturday were the best I've had in many many years. And a bonus is that our dog is also very welcome.

Went with spouse and had a lovely dinner at this beautifully decorated place. Staff was so polite and welcoming, can't define it in words, simply brilliant!

Food was delicious too, hummus and pita was great to start with and was abundant quantity. Grilled hallumi was okay-ish, no bad though. Chips were crispy and hot, so I'd say they did well with that too.

Main course: Thai Green Curry (veg) was amazing, it was really tasty and yet wasn't overloaded with oil so didn't hid my gut hard, so happy with that.

We also had desserts: baklava and J&H homemade vanilla ice cream with walnuts. Both were good, I loved ice cream more though.

Will be back again!!

This lovely little pub/restaurant is both welcoming and cozy. The food is excellent serving both traditional pub classics and amazing Greek food. Would definitely recommend.

We had lunch under the umbrella in the rain. They had lovely heating and the kids played in the playpark no matter the rain. The food was delicious and the wine was good. Lovely service and beautiful gardens.

Superb food in a great setting, backed up by top service. The octopus starter is well worth checking out as is the halloumi burger.

Have been visiting the Jekyll for 18 months and have never had an issue with any of the food or service.

Can recommend (if you have the apetite) Pork steak or a full rack of ribs, the salads are perfect with the Greek style the flavours are superb.

Make sure you fast before visiting as you will need to request a doggy box.

And yes the picture is correct a 13" pork chop.....for only £20 what great quality and value for money so hard to find now.

A lovely, quite & friendly place to eat, the food was amazing and the portion sizes...well, ourselves along with all the other guests were very happy with what came out the kitchen. We had the Lamb Chops and Full Rack of Ribs.

Quite the pleasant surprise! We stopped in here quite unplanned, and it was really quite excellent. The food was outstanding, the Greek salad in particular was delicious! All the food was fresh, piping hot, and very tasty, and very reasonably priced. The menu has a brilliant selection between Thai, Greek, and English!
Interior decor is really nice, modern, but also traditional of a good English country pub.
There's also a great kids play area in a nice pub garden.
Nothing not to like, a really enjoyable experience. Despite not being very near, we'll make the trip back to go again, as it was that good.

Had a fantastic lunch here on Monday early afternoon. The food is superb; so delicious and such a great selection. Service was well timed, not at all slow but also we never felt rushed, and our server was very friendly and engaging. Will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic meal, great portion sizes, with friendly, helpful staff and service. They catered for our big group of 14, in their private upstairs area, with everything brought out correctly and on time. Perfect!

Went for dinner on Friday evening. Seated at our choice of table outside. Service was prompt and excellent. Menu choices were great and food was superb - I'm running out of good adjectives!

The garden area has a small playground area for the kids while there are different areas of seating from formal dining and relaxed seating.

Pork ribs was not bad. I would suggest sharing those dish. Reasonable price for the amount for food!

What a beautiful place! We just loved the way customers are treated! And the food...so good. We tried both Sunday Roast and Ribs. Will definitely go back! Thank you for this experience!
