Visited for the first time having just moved to the are.
Food was lovely, had the carvery on Sunday... Roast pork was so good.
Friendly accommodating staff that went the extra mile to entertain the kids.
Lots to do, pool table, football table and ping pong.
Niced relaxed atmosphere.
See you soon 😊

We had a function at this lovely pub today for a large number of people and we were so impressed! The staff are amazing, very polite, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Our family were very impressed and I would highly recommend to anyone. 5* all round x

I visited this place for a friend, who wanted a photo of the mural on the pub's wall. Having taken the photos, I went inside and found a lively atmosphere, even though it was a Sunday lunchtime. I had a beer, a most refreshing IPA and just watched the patrons enjoying themselves. I gather the food orders were running a little late that day, but nobody really seemed to mind that much! If you find yourself around Nettlestead Green, do drop in. There is a gallery section at one end of the pub where you can discover the story of Warrant Officer Blumer, the Spitfire pilot depicted in the mural. I think you'll be glad you visited.

The outside doesn't do the interior justice. Beautifully renovated inside but with its original character.
Lovely landlord, food and also a bonus of a wonderful garden with children's play area. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced.

I didn't eat here as I started feeling unwell just as we were about to order, but the man behind the bar was so kind, offering me a place to live down and asking my partner if he could do anything to help. He had already been very accommodating, offering to move a table for us. Excellent customer service!

Lovely staff, great service with a cosy feeling atmosphere

The sunday carvery was A-mazing! Choice of 4 meats, lots of veg and crispy potatoes. It tasted out of this world - very reasonably priced. Too full to try the pudding sadly, but will next time 😊

Highly recommend booking as it was busy, we'll be back again soon 😀
