Blue Diamond Garden Centres

Great selection of home decor and niche items, the plants all looked healthy and the food was very tasty. We visited as my wife wanted to look at the clothing range, we did come away with some nice items, please not no men’s clothing, they only stock female clothing.

We visited on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm, it wasn’t overcrowded, it was clean and very well laid out. We stopped for a bite to eat, tasty, clean and friendly with a quick service, we couldn’t ask for more.

We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Since this has changed to blue diamond it is 100% better. The food and quality is good and so is the customer service. The outside garden centre is really good as is the inside with the new clothing department added. We had afternoon tea here and Mandy and the team were amazing. From the presentation to the taste it was fresh and yummy. I would highly recommend. Thank you very much.

There is so much to look at. The place was kept clean and tidy. There were plenty of staff on hand to help or answer questions. The items on sale aren't badly priced and there are lots of gifts on offer for special occasions. Can't wait to look and see what is on offer at Christmas.

Found at the shopping outlet in Peterborough, just off of the large roundabout.
Plenty of parking.
Parking is free.
Toilets are available.
A cafe with loads of seating, and tables well spaced out.
Outdoor seating area too.
As I write this ( Sept 2022 ) they're just putting the Christmas stock out. It looked like it's going to be quite alot of festive stuff !!

Indoor , outdoor stuff, candles, plants, lantern, garden plants, water features, sheds, they have it all here.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Lovely Garden centre, well laid out, great selection and pleasant eating area. Had a breakfast that was spot on, well cooked, hot and ingredients were superior to those used in bigger chains. Staff were polite and professional.

An unexpected surprise from this Peterborough garden centre, an amazing transformation has occurred with plenty of ideas for all ages.......
Including its new refurbished restaurant....

First visit. Loved the garden centre and the home wares etc. As it is a big place and we wanted to go back and forth between the departments we did find the one way system quite irritating and in our view unnecessary. We had the most lovely lunch in the restaurant - soup and a cheese scone - it really was delicious. Staff were friendly in all departments. We spent a couple of hours here and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely garden centre , we came for the home stuff and we was not let down! We love the selection of food products and home products and gifts available here! Thanks for a lovely day out and helpful polite staff!

First visit to Van Hage since the Blue Diamond handover. So much to look at!
At the patisserie counter we had two lovely ladies serve us & the cream tea was fab both in taste & price!
Lovely selection of plants & flowers out the back - quite a good price compared to other centres.
We look forward to visiting again soon - I think other garden centres in the city need to up their game 😉!!! Well done Van Hage!

Initially visited one of the other large Peterborough garden centres which we found dreary and poorly stocked. So we headed off to Blue Diamond a couple of miles away and what a world of difference.
BD was bright, inviting and stocking a huge variety of garden, gifts and household stuff as well as an interesting ladies boutique (now the whole retail site looking almost like a department store.
The restaurant had a wide variety of food and was clean and easy to negotiate. We were also impressed by the huge selection of plants etc available in the outdoor area, everything being well signposted. This will absolutely be our go to garden centre in the future (and just to browse for gift ideas)

Today we had breakfast with Santa. We took our granddaughter. The experience was amazing!!! We had a lovely breakfast but it was the experience that was the best. Santa, Frosty and the elf were magical, watching my granddaughter teach them ballet was a memory that I will keep forever! Everyone was so kind. I would highly recommend this experience! Oh and if the smell of the cakes baking when we arrived was anything to go by I’m pretty sure they must be delicious.

Just want to say how pleased we were with the service there everyone was friendly but most of all a women named WENDY was so helpful with plant advice and PAUL who helped us load it in our car great customer service will call in again when we visit

Well stocked with healthy plants and lots of other nice items. The cream tea is excellent would recommend the scones.

absolutely beautiful place restaurant staff exceptionally friendly and cheerful, garden centre wonderful plants are exceptionally well looked after will definitely go back again very soon.

Last went there before Christmas. It was lovely with all the decorations, however I didn't like the way they set it out. Plants in a circle, no cut through to smelly stuff. So didn't see as much, very confusing. The garden things are all very good, bit pricey. We decided to have brunch. Small breakfast for him and I wanted a bacon sandwich, but could only have a cob, which turned out to be a bap. The food is a bit costly but it's tasty. They try to be Harrods, but are more like M&S. We bought a garden globe, it's blue glass. We're definitely going again 😁

My wife took my mother there for a afternoon tea (sandwiches, cakes,etc..)both said it was absolutely brilliant, fantastic selection of food,very well presented, and the customer service they got from the gentleman who organised it (Tony) was absolutely outstanding!!,both had a fantastic time

Really enjoyed looking round this beautiful garden centre. I bought some plants which were of excellent quality. The clothing area is beautiful and I can never resist having a look.
We had breakfast in the restaurant which was excellent. I particularly enjoyed having a cup of tea in a proper cup and saucer in the old fashioned style. Sometimes it's the little touches that make it a special visit.

Stopped for a coffee with my mum in the cafe. Clean and coffee was good. We purchased a few items and was impressed by the prices of items bought.
