Peterborough Services - Extra

Really like this services! High speed chargers, reasonable selection of food offerings as well as an M&S food shop and WH Smiths. We stopped in Costa for a festive coffee and a bite, excellent Barista and helpful servers. Really clean, even though it was super busy.

Never used this Services before, but will definitely use again. Just of A1. Plenty of parking with good facilities. There are the regular fast food chains McDonald’s and KFC but some really nice outlets like PizzaLuxe, West Cornwall Pasty Company, EL Mexican, Chopsix. Also has an Esso Petrol station, M&S food and Costa Coffee. Plenty of outdoor space for picnics with tables provided. A nice children’s park outside.

Hotel attached for overnight stays and a large truck stop. Very clean inside. The toilets were modern and clean. McDonald's is a cheap and cheerful fix for food and drink on the go. Will look out for Extra Services in the future.

This place does get extremely busy at certain periods throughout the day so please bare that in mind.

Clean toilets, nice range of eating places, uncluttered atrium with plenty of seating. Perfect place for a quick stop on a long journey

My mate works at maccies and cooked up a proper good burger for me and threw in an extra few chips!

This is a good service station. Plenty of food options. Clean facilities considering how busy it can be. It's recently undergone some refurbishment outside. There is a children's play area. Comfy seating. Lots of food options. Shell petrol station and easy parking. Ev charging points and plenty of room for a rest and to stretch your legs. As service stations go this is a good one.

Brilliant services....why? Well let me explain.

Accessible from both directions of A1. Lots of parking, space for cars, coaches & Lorries, clearly marked and generously allotted.

Inside there is a plethora of food options. From Mc Donald's, KFC, PIZZA, Costa, to mexican, WH Smith, M&S food, bakery Quicksilver (Arcade games) and many others. A BIG CENTRAL AREA to sit and eat common to all the shops. We were going from London to Lincoln and stopped in the way to have breakfast and we loved it so much that we purposely came back while returning.

Toilets were clean and huge...could accommodate at least 50 people in one go and hence you not need to wait outside.

Fuel section also similarly wide, open and accessible. Lorries section separate to cars.

Clean throughout. Got a breakfast in 'Fresh' and coffee from Costa. All prices are more expensive but it is the same in all service stations. Nice food, cooked to perfection. Overall good even if its a bit pricey.

One of my favourite stops, perfect for my little one who loves the new play area. Great place to stop and stretch tired legs, and grab a bite from the great options of food. A services well thought out!

This is definitely one of the better Service stations I've visited. I thought the area was clean, plenty of food outlets, to suit all budgets. I went for McDonalds and was one of the places that didnt seem to have a service station 30% surcharge lol. Majority of places close at 10, however the McDonalds and KFC is 24 hours as is the seating area and toilets

First time visiting here, was pleasantly surprised, appeared very clean despite being very busy, toilets very clean and well kept, overall a pleasent place to rest. There is very good choice for eating with all the major outlets there, only sl downside was parking availability, but as I said it was extremely busy when we visited. Overall I recommend.

This Service station is expansive and has many retail outlets of various appeal, cafés and restaurants come out on top but there is a WHSmith stationery shop and an M&S Simply Food Supermarket, a Casino is available for those of age. The Toilets are Clean, Well maintained and numerous. The middle of the central hall is occupied by chairs tables: Seating and Dining room, Microwaves and sinks are here and are for the use of the general public. The car park has sufficient parking spaces for both the main building and the days Inn hotel on site, there are 2 electric parking areas each with 5-6 parking spots. During the time I was at the services the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were taking place and the large screen at the centre of the main hall was used to broadcast this. Pop Music was playing in the background this coupled with the great design creates a relaxing haven for the traveler, delivery driver and public!

Very nice service station , reasonable toilets and also had a prayer area with Wudu facility which was very clean and has a locked door - very grateful for this area

Great place to stop for a rest or a bite to eat. There are outdoor picnic areas, space to walk a dog and a lovely playground. We love the warm indoor eating area where you can eat your own food or buy from the good range of eateries on offer. Currently some of the toilets are under renovation but the work is not disruptive. A convenient place overall.

As services go this one is good, very wide selection of food and other retailers and the Chinese noodle bar was really good. We were served quickly and the food was excellent. I wish we had known about this services sooner, it will likely now be a regular stop for us enroute to Norfolk

Not too crowded, we found parking space and a table inside. Good choice of food. Mc Donald's for kids, Chinese or Mexican for adults. Some shops for essentials. Toilets are undergoing renovations, you can use them though.
There's a cat wash.

Good service station with many facilities, also has a multi faith prayer room for praying with dedicated wudu/ablution taps inside

Great pit stop on the way home. Something for everyone.

Excellent service station, plenty of choice for food and desserts, lots of seating, the toilets were nice and clean, 2 members of staff constantly cleaning tables, they've recently opened a wafflemeister but it was freezing today otherwise I would have ordered.
