Argo Lounge

We came in at 5pm and were pleasantly surprised by the offer where with every main they include a free desert or an alcoholic beverage.

We weren’t expecting much at first as it is a chain but we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming and bubbly staff members who actually kept up a conversation with us. That’s a rare trait.

The food was also amazing, everything came out within 15/20 minutes of ordering and it was all piping hot and fresh.

We will be coming back ♥

Excellent bar, cafe and restaurant in the centre of Peterborough. Part of the Lounges group which have an industrial decor and friendly staff. Excellent food plus vegan and gluten free menus. Good coffee and beer. Make sure you read what you get with the meal as you may want to add some extras. Good value for money.

As usual with the lounges across the UK, this place doesn't disappoint. Lovely staff, setting & food. Affordable prices too.

Wheelchair friendly. Staff are Allergy aware. Gluten and Lactose Free is no problem and all Free From Food is prepared in a separate area. The Free From menu is excellent and adaptable.
I had no problems as a wheelchair user and have food allergy’s . Lovely friendly staff. Food was nicely prepared and cooked to perfection. Price was as expected and not too expensive.

Lovely food and great service. Really nice atmosphere

I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere at Argo Lounge. During the day, it's absolutely family friendly to bring children, and at night it's the perfect place for a casual date or tapas with friends. The food is always delicious, I can't fault it.

Dropped in on the off chance on a Wednesday evening.

Service was great and the food was even better. My partner and I both had food from the tapas menu. All the food was beautifully cooked and seasoned.

We both left with large smiles and full bellies, not anything else we could have asked for.

Good service and consistent food. Been here multiple weekends and weekdays in a row and the food and service has been consistent. Just like other Lounges I've been to.

Yummy big breaky, but only 4 stars due to eggs being overdone and cold mushrooms. I do also feel for the price, a drink should be included, not extra, as it was almost £18 in total, which is steep, and other places close by have breakfast and or lunch deals. Very good service, though, always very friendly and accommodating.

One of my absolute favourite places. Always such friendly staff, always asking about allergies, how they can help and if there anything they should know to make your experience better. The food is always incredible, and never had a bad experience.
Always a very nice atmosphere in the restaurant as well so I love visiting here.

Visited today for a team work brunch/ leaving , the staff had set up a lovely table downstairs for us all. I had eggs with bacon hollandaise, we had a variety of dishes, which to be honest I had food envy over all of them ! The pancakes and buttermilk chicken dishes looked awesome, and the vegan/veggie dishes I’m told were fab. I haven’t been here for ages after a bad experience, and I am happy to say I will definitely be back soon. The staff were absolutely lovely so all in all a great time .. Thank You.. 😊

This is a wonderful place from what I've seen in my time there. Fantastic friendly staff who seem genuine and that makes a difference. The whole atmosphere is great due to the staff I feel. Also a beautiful building etc. Best pub in Peterborough

Visited a few times now and the food is always good. This time we ordered a load of tapas dishes to share and everything tasted great.

We went here last Friday we were lookingforsomewheretoeat that was both child & dog friendly. The staff were lovely, cheerful & extremely helpful. The food was delicious & good value for money. I would highly recommend the Agro lounge.

Terrific Cafe Bar, plenty of room and interestingly decorated well worth a visit.
We popped in for Brunch and ordered a Big Lounge Breakfast, wow it was huge and delicious too, a proper breakfast you have to try one! Highly recommend.

December 2022. Went here for dinner with my partner, we both had the chicken paramo burger, chips and slaw. We both added an extra fillet which is great that you can do that! On arrival, we were asked if we had any dietary requirements or allergies then instructed to pick a seat. I liked being able to pick so we could avoid loud parties. We ordered and paid at the table and very quickly our drinks came out and shortly followed by our dinner. All the food was amazing, the staff very friendly also. Would definitely recommend 👌🏻. Went the next day for lunch and it was very busy, waited about 5 mins to be seated which was fine as its quality food. Again it came very quickly and tasted amazing.

December 2022-We went to the argo Lounge just over a week after the first visits but with our 2 young children. Caters well for kids. The mac cheese was missing the garlic bread which wasn't a big deal and the chicken in our burgers were slightly over done so they were very Crispy, still tasted nice but not as nice as our previous visit.
December 2023 - again, beautiful food, amazing atmosphere. Love it in here
April 2024 -went here for our anniversary meal, had a lovely meal. Staff so friendly. Cocktails full of ice so I'd say tone down on ice and more drink 🤣 . Will keep coming back!

Always a lovely atmosphere here, met a friend on a Saturday afternoon, it was packed, so only tables were downstairs... ordered using the app, considering how busy they were, service was speedy. Food and drinks were both delicious.. plenty of choice for vegan me. Great place for both food or just a drink... definitely my favourite place in pbro.

Popped in for something to eat on a day out in Peterborough. Really impressed with the menu. Our food was amazing, coffee lovely too. Staff were friendly, lovely atmosphere and decor. Will definitely return if in the area .
