Premier Inn Monmouth hotel

We arrived late at night as we were unable to locate where we should be staying. Although no vacancies the kind receptionist located us a room at the Ross on Wye Premier Inn a few miles away, without her help we could have been facing a night in the car in the middle of nowhere in the countryside

Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Large family room. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Free parking.

Friendly staff, usual corporate identity furnishings and design. Know exactly what to expect and that's exactly what's delivered. Recommended.

Lovely staff, great service.
"in house" restaurant, we had breakfast which was excellent - freshly cooked to order with good quality ingredients.
The usual Premier Inn rooms - Comfortable and clean.
Parking was free and plenty of spaces.
Very easy walk into Monmouth for a show at the Savoy Theatre or to enjoy pubs, restaurants etc.

Had a fabulous stay here yesterday. It was my birthday. Ahmed the duty manager who seemed to be doing all the jobs in the hotel bless him, made bed up in room, greeted us at reception, did drinks at the bar and served dinner! He gave me a card for my birthday too... Thank you for great service. The only downside was, I ordered a makhani curry, it came in a 2 inch deep metal bowl and there was only equivalent to one ladel of sauce and 4 bits of chicken, but the large amount of white rice and large naan accompaniment had to mainly be eaten dry. More curry sauce please! But other than that a lovely stay.

I can't comment on the rooms themselves, but stopped here to use the fast EV charger and the staff kindly opened the restaurant so I could have a cup of coffee and dessert. Fantastic service. There's a CHAdeMO, type 2, and CCS connector charger.

Main road behind the garage parking is limited but the rooms are spacious and the doors are big enough for my wheelchair to go through so I don't have to get out good hotel for disabled people to go to

Great stay needed a good night sleep before taking part in a local rally and that's exactly what I got Great service and a good breakfast 😀

Great hotel stay for a short get away weekends in the Forest of Dean. Great location and affordable. Service was good and hotel rooms were good and clean too. My younger siblings very much enjoyed the stay. Aircon is available in the hotel too which is great when it is hot.

Well positioned for main road and an easy walk into town . Plenty of parking.
Would have awarded five stars for service , but the first morning went to breakfast at 10 am, and the kitchen was closed . Breakfast 6.30 to 10.30 ? Went to breakfast the next day at 9.00 a.m., different again , helpful courteous staff , and got fed .

Good, clean hotel. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and have an ensuite which contain all you need and is clean and modern. A good range of meals are served in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal.

Excellent two night enjoyable stay. Lovely friendly and helpful staff and clean well equipped rooms. Only small gripe was lack of staff on the Fri day night ...only two staff frantically trying to cover a pretty busy evening in the restaurant and people arriving in reception and needing to be checked in. As a result we abandoned having a dessert having sat down at 7pm and it being almost 9pm. Food was good what we had and breakfast and staff on duty in the morning were excellent. This was a six nations weekend so please Premier Inn take note and staff accordingly. Your employees worked really hard but this was asking too much from them . Needed fresh towels and tea and milk on the second night as we hadn't booked a room clean as such. Again the chap on duty was so helpful and sorted us out quickly and with a smile. Overall a great stay...all credit to the hardworking staff.

The staff are amazing. They are so polite from booking in to working the restaurant. The food is great (well done chef). I travel the country staying in premier inns and this one stands out. Well done guys you deserve a pay rise 😁. Cracking town to.

Lovely fresh looking rooms & a bath with optional shower. Temperature control in the room so you can get the temperature the way you want it. The staff couldn't be more helpful & the parking is free.

The reception staff were really nice and friendly. The room was clean and really spacious even compared to other Premier Inn hotels, which made the stay comfortable and nice. A minor note is it would have been nice to have daily room service but I guess that wasn't done by default due to the Christmas holidays.

Excellent first stay in a Premier Inn. Welcoming, friendly staff, clean well equipped room, close to Monmouth town centre. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast and buffet for extras and served by smiling, pleasant staff. Lots of well lit parking. Really good experience. Would happily return.

Clean room, really friendly helpful staff. Very comfy bed and decent shower. On top of that it was extremely reasonable rate. Didn't try breakfast but a friend who stayed an extra night said it was good. Very good value for money and good location - free carpark too

I have stayed at many premier inns , all being good , but Monmouth was exceptional. The staff , in particular Ahmed , Stephen , Bethan and Tracy looked after us so well and made sure we had everything we requested. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast was extended to our visiting grandchildren . We will definitely book in again. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The man at reception was very welcoming and get us checked in quickly. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and as expected, the bed was sublime. All in all a very good stay and will definitely be back!
