Just happened to pass by here on a hot sunny summer day after England won world cup quarter finals so what can I say, great vibe! Sunny terrace and view on the old bridge.

Didn't sample the food but stunning beer garden overlooking the river and bridge. Perfect for drinking in the sun!

This place was absolute perfection for me. The food was stunning across the board, couldn't fault it. The music was upbeat and inviting. The staff are really approachable and welcoming and have great hospitality. This is one pub & restaurant in South Wales you don't want to skip out on.

We popped in for a coffee initially but had an all day breakfast in the end. The service was impeccable, the staff were lovely and the food was great!!
We will definitely be back the next time we hit Monmouth!!

Lovely welcoming experience. We did not book and they catered for 7 of us. Lovely home made food, friendly places great atmosphere. They waitress was so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the great service!! We will be back

Was a Wednesday so was open mic night .
Great atmosphere lovely beer.
Staff very freindry they could not do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay.

Brilliant pub had some lovely food and drinks here overlooking the river sat outside on the patio up high watching the world go by.. The meal was a little slow to come out but it was very busy and it was worth the Wait.... . Would recommend

Turned up for lunch with partner and puppy. We sat outside and it was lovely. Service was amazing, the food was lovely and 3 courses on a Sunday for £17.90 was a great price. We will be back for sure 😊

A lovely pub! Great drinks and a lovely atmosphere and view. Although they have a minimum card charge which is sometimes inconvenient and I'm not sure if it's allowed anymore?!

Only stopped for a beer at lunchtime, ended up having a couple more sat on the terrace overlooking the river and Monnow Bridge, lovely !! Food looked great .

Great little pub. The outside multiple level garden is lovely, especially sitting by the river. Staff very friendly.
