Exceptional! We visited - spur of the moment - having had several recommendations from guests of our holiday cottage. The staff were friendly, efficient and frankly couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The Sunday lunch was EXQUISITE and very good value considering the portion size and all the extras - cauliflower cheese etc all included. Modern, stylish and clean interiors. Highly recommend and we will certainly be back. We live locally and have already told many of our friends and family about this place. Wishing the Billy’s team all the best for a successful future.

A very beautiful restaurant that serves fantastic food. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely somewhere to visit, but don't eat before you go - portions for Sunday lunch are NOT SMALL!

To start, I booked online with ease and even though my partner and I arrived a little late due to poor weather, we were treated amazingly.

All the staff were incredible, funny and most of all welcoming. The food was to die for and the portion size definitely filled myself and my partner up. And the atmosphere was absolutely amazing the music and the way the whole place was decorated was perfect. Couldn't recommend Billy's more!

Have been coming to Lakes Lodges for several years now and the addition of a restaurant here is for the site, the village and wider area is absolutely tremendous, so full credit to the owners. Food is genuinely good, with both a la carte and more traditional options available.

My wife and i have just visited for Sunday lunch, the food was fantastic, and we highly recommend the cheesecake dessert. Service was friendly and efficient, top marks, will happily visit again.

Excellent Sunday lunch. The beef and chicken and veg were very tasty. One of the best we've had a long while. Definitely recommend a visit. And we'll be back!

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant! Brilliant service, stunning decor and exceptionally good food!!! We had the curried cauliflower and parsnip soup followed by sticky toffee pudding - Absolute full marks! Would highly recommend!!! Wishing you the very best of luck on your new venture 😊

Duck liver would be a strong recommendation on the starter menu. Pork belly portion (starter) could be a bit larger. You can’t go wrong with the battered haddock or the burger. Front of house absolutely outstanding.

Food was great and staff were very friendly. I had the pork and sage pie special which fantastic would definitely go back.

The waiting-on staff were awesome, and the food was amazing. Perfection would have been mints with the coffee 😁 will definitely recommend and return.

Really excellent food - especially our starters, loved the beef croquettes. Definitely worth the money. Walked away full and happy with everything we had. Other highlights were their take on an old fashioned and the steak with garlic butter. Would 100% go back and they have a great setup for having a restaurant meal with a dog.
