Hawkshead has such an amazing range and stock of quality outdoor clothing, footwear and hiking accessories. We spent over an hour shopping in their Black Friday Sale and came away with new boots, socks, jackets, tops and trousers!! The help and advice we received from Julie was first class and Ellen was great too. We'll be back again before we leave the Lakes to kit our son out for an adventure trip to Iceland. Highly recommended store for outdoorsy minded folk.

Went in for a browse. Tried on a couple of pairs of walking boots but decided not to buy. Staff were extremely helpful and patient. Definitely a professional place to go to for outdoor clothing

Had the full English Breakfast, can honestly say what I got was worth the money! the size and taste was perfect, staff was very attentive and polite, I don't think one person left without being said goodbye too and to have a lovely day, and it was very busy at the time!, 5*

One stop shop for all your outdoor gear needs. We came throughly unprepared for a daunting rainstorm but found everything we needed here at reasonable price. Staff here is super helpful and kind.

This is the first review of this cafe and when I visited I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, the scones were very tasty as were the chocolate brownies, neither were too dry.

This is a great clothing store. Great choice and value. Worth the drive out. Parking charges nearby are a bit hefty.

When ever we come to the lakes we always stop at Hawkshead and pop into this shop because the staff are helpful and there is always a good bargain to be had
