Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in today requesting a certain type of book and was given lots of recommendations, all good. The recommendations were so accurate that I’d read most of them which shows the staff really listened to what I said. A rare quality!
I left with a couple of books that I wouldn’t have thought to buy. I’ve started one and it’s brilliant. I love shops that have informed staff that know what they’re talking about.

Harkens the days of my youth spent indulging my passion for reading and searching for my next paperback. My discovery of Waterstones is refreshing as I'm not a Amazon devotee. Call me a relic if you will and meet me at the bookstore. I'll be here! I've ordered hard to find books here with relish and never disappointed. Old World value for money spent.

Exelant shop and the choice of books for all taste reasonably priced and learning toys for kids of all ages. Staff are very helpful if they haven't got what your looking for they will order it and phone you when it comes into the shop . Like the feel and smell of a paper book instead of the Electronics Thanks Waterstones .

A medium sized store, but well laid out & the staff are very knowledgeable & friendly. If your book is not available, then it can be quickly ordered. Local book signings are arranged, which is really pleasing.

The staff were helpful and informed. I am looking forward to collecting my next book. A great service.

Great selection of books at very reasonable prices. Staff are lovely and went out of their way to make me feel welcome even though my toddler screamed the whole time. Lovely store I would highly recommend.

What a friendly helpful assistant in this wonderful bookshop. It may be small what a good selection of books, games and gifts.

Customer service here is brilliant. There was an elderly lady so excited about a book she wanted but it was too big for her to carry home, they sent it to her house by courier free of charge. Now that is customer service!

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Got lots of Christmas presents and more inspiration than just looking at the online shop (although both are good for browsing)

I love to sit in the cafe & watch the world go by. The variety of books are amazing also the gifts for children are so different from what you can buy in other shops.

Any waterstones shop is good for browsing childrens toys and books and books for any imaginable topic,fact or fiction in comfortable surroundings.

Really liked the section on wildlife, has many good books on birds. The one with cook ooks was good too.

Great little shop, part of the big chain but a more intimate feel. Staff always friendly and helpful.
