Stopped off for a quick drink while on my way cambridge. Lovely beer garden at the rear and a few tables and chairs at the front. Staff very friendly and helpful. A few real ales on tap and other good beers. Didn't have any food but lots of people were and it looked good. Dog friendly. Parking is a bit difficult as you park on the road outside, not sure if they was any other parking. Would definitely come back.

This is a local village pub with a nice atmosphere. Food is nice of somewhat pricey. The beer garden is fantastic. The Blue Ball is my favourite pub in Grantchester.

Really lovely, unspoiled pub with friendly staff and a simple, and very tasty, menu. We sat in the garden out back and it was lovely.

The best Shepherds pie ever. And a lovely, warm, laid back, authentic pub atmosphere with the welcoming fireplace and great team. Fresh, tasty, am still dreaming of that Shepherds pie.

Wow, came here for the first time this past weekend on a sunny day and the experience was phenomenal. Adorable little restaurant and their lentil soup was among the best I’ve ever had. Seriously delicious. I was skeptical this place could live up to its very high ratings but it definitely does, and I love how dog friendly it is! The patio is so pleasant!

My favourite pub in the Cambridge area. Very old English, dog friendly, properly home cooked food with decent portions and affordable. Lovely bar staff. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Gorgeous pub. Super friendly staff, great drinks, tasty home cooked food, log fires and a piano in one of the most beautiful villages, very close to Cambridge. Perfection!

Really nice traditional pub with a gorgeous little garden out the back.
As it was a hot day we sat outside and had a cold lunch which was fresh and tasty. The salad was just as if it had been freshly picked! Staff are welcoming - will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Lovely lovely pub with simple yet delightful food! Staff were welcoming, and the customers there were all very friendly and kind as well... when we were deciding to go in or not in front of the place, one of the regular customer (I suppose) told us there is a nice beer garden at the back of the inn and we are so glad we went in.
When there are nice customers, it just shows how good the place is, and this place really showed that :) We had a delightful time with happy tummy!

This is a real unspoilt gem which we only recently discovered after a walk across Grantchester meadows. The owners are really lovely and welcoming which is always appreciated. We sat out the back in what was a beautifully ornate beer garden decorated with all manner of gorgeous hanging baskets. It truly was a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Definitely somewhere well return back to for a much longer visit another time.

Lovely little pub - the staff were extremely welcoming, the food was very delicious and the prices were reasonable.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare, so expect to drive along the country road looking for a parking spot and walk back towards the pub!

Great little location - there's a small hiking trail just over the road with some geocaches also nearby.

The best pub in Grantchester, no question. Great food at a great price, with very friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. You can't book ahead but I've never had a problem getting a table. Would particularly recommend the garden out back in summer time. Definitely a firm favourite!
