Came for a Roast dinner. The staff are amazing went out of there way to give us a table. The lamb roast was one of the best I've ever eaten! perfectly cooked delicious meal, large portions, absolutely delicious and gluten free which is hard to find.the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Last but not least The lovely lady that served us is so devoted to her job, ideal waiter really looking after everyone she deserves an award for her commitment to her job. Will be sending all my friends to visit.

It is the best choice for an unforgettable stay in Monmouth. The friendly and attentive staff always greets their customers with a smile. The food is unbeatable, and the rooms are perfectly equipped to accommodate guests. The prices are fair, making it the ideal combination for an incomparable experience that will make you want to come back for another stay. 😃🍺🧆

Excellent. The breakfast was of excellent quality, at a fair price, and the coffee had a good taste. The staff was wonderful, and the environment was very clean and nice. The room was spotless.

Very impressed with this restaurant. Most of the items in the menu have gluten free options. They have high proportion of meat to carbs which I think shows great value for money. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Good balance of serving as well. So overall hapoy with our experience here.

Had a yummy Sunday roast, as we do there quite frequently. Food freshly-cooked, wonderfully presented, tasted perfect. Staff are so kind, friendly and attentive. Beautifully, artistically decorated. *Updated to include really lovely cocktails, a great space if you just fancy a cool drink with friends.

We had a beautiful and reasonably priced meal here last week. We shared crispy beef to start with, then I had chicken and my wife had beef bourgogne. Followed by a delicious cheesecake between us. A bottle of Rose supplemented it beautifully. Very nicely decorated restaurant but could done with a bit more heating on. £82 for everything is a great price.

Went for a Sunday lunch. Had the lamb and the beef between us, both were cooked very well with plenty of veg and gravy. Good service particularly as the restaurant was quite busy. Nice food and place.

We stayed there for a night on the Wye valley walk. Really nice owners and good staff. Brill breakfast cooked to order. Handy for shopping restaurants etc.

My daughter and I went today April 14th 2024 for Sunday lunch .I can see why it’s called “ Creates “ as they have created a great atmosphere with the Decore / art work .The staff are super friendly , efficient , helpful and so easy to get along with .Happy & cheerful even under pressure .
The food was exceptional and plenty .
We both had a vegetarian option which was tasty but my only niggle , was that it would have been nice to have at least another option ie a lentil / mushroom en croute or a nut roastt .
I would certainly visit again but beware to make sure you book as it’s a busy little bistro .A real gem to have found .

Had two rooms in this stunning little gem. Spotless, super friendly, great breakfast. Do check out the decor in the cafe loos!

This is a fantastic B&B , centrally located in a lovely old building, the rooms are modern and clean. We had a comfortable sleep and the little touches like biscuits, bottled water and nice toiletries are a lovely addition. The room was really clean with nice decor. The breakfast was amazing, a cooked full English with a huge sausage, just what a lady wants!! There were other options and the service was fabulous from the 2 ladies we met. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the end of Sunday lunch sitting, but the very helpful staff fitted us in.
We are glad they did, it was excellent and very good value for our portions.
We came across the bistro by accident but would certainly return when next in Monmouth. Certainly recommend it.

Visiting from Denver Colorado - this was an amazing place to stay. Superb location. Cafe was delicious and employees wonderful. The breakfast was generous proportion to start the day. Our room was the squirrel drey. We had a lovely view and all the details in the room were so sweet! We met the owners Kenny and Ben and can tell they have put their heart and soul into the place. Would highly recommend! Hope to visit again!

Magical! What a lovely welcome! We really felt at home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. Well cooked and beautifully presented. We didn't stay in the room but my son and daughter did and they were full of praise. I can really recommend this restaurant which is in a beautiful location. Fantastic!

Lovely place with staff who go beyond expectations: when we were struggling in the car park, someone came out to help us in our battle with the meter!

Friendly staff, delightful rooms and a delicious breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Our only complaint was that we stayed on a Sunday so couldn't eat at Creates or visit the gallery. So we'll have to return for another stay.

We had a few days/nights at Creates. What a lovely place. Imogen, Ben, Kenny, Ben’s mum and all the staff were so friendly and kind. I felt like I’d know them ages!! The rooms are comfy and warm. The food delicious. Really one of the best places I’ve stayed in ages. Thanks for everything and see you next time. X

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend while we attended a wedding close by. The staff were wonderful. They looked after us when we arrived. On both days when we had breakfast, the staff could not do enough for us. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. The room was clean and uniquely decorated, with plenty of tea and coffee if we needed it. Thank you.

Ideal place to stay in Monmouth, which is a lovely town. Staff are so welcoming and endlessly helpful. Best shower ever plus huge towels. Food in café/restaurant excellent.
For rooms to be 5* , need box of tissues and suitcase stand - for me anyway.
