Gatcombe Park Farm Camping /Glamping

Took our camper away for just one night and could have happily stayed a month. For us, a perfect site and a lucky find. A relaxed vibe that is considerate to the environment. The alpacas is just a super added bonus. Thank you. We will be back.

Spent a weekend in the showmans wagon and honestly could not give Phil and his lovely wife higher praise! We had an amazing time, absolutely loved the Alpaca experience and everything was so beautifully presented (so clean and lots of personal touches). Would HIGHLY recommend a weekend away at Gatcombe Farm, so good for the soul.

Fantastic site! So lovely and peaceful. Very warm welcome on arrival. 2 pubs with a short walking distance. The shower and toilet were clean. The shower was lovely and hot. Very quirky and quaint. Lovely chilled vibe here and can 100% recommend. Special mention to the alpacas!

Really great place to stay. You can tell they have put a lot of hard work into making your experience enjoyable and the fact they only allow a small number of campers means you have space and privacy to relax. Nothing was too much trouble and if you need any help or advise the owner is always happy to help. Beautiful views, local walks, good pubs and the Alpacas are very cute! We stayed in the showman’s hut and were very comfortable, plenty of space well kitted out. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the showman. Fantastic facilities, friendly owner that is very helpful and an excellent location to discover the South Devon coast.

Phil and his wife was fantastic hosts.

Stunning views from the showman’s wagon, which was immaculate and spacious.

We absolutely loved the tranquillity, the friendly and relaxed hosts, the lovely fellow-campers, the great location, the alpacas, the clean and homely facilities - so much that we extended our stay by two nights!

Nice enough, and good location, friendly owners…however, I felt that having to buy a £6 membership to even book in, then £25 for first night, and additional £27 to extend by one extra night (more if I’d have done bank transfer)…totalling £58 for me as a solo traveller in a one-man pop-up tent for two nights was VERY pricey for a campsite with no frills.
