Waterside Bistro in Devon

Lovely and cozy little restaurant, friendly and efficient staff, and good food. I had the special which was fish, and it was beautifully cooked.
We found parking on the street a short walk away. I would recommend this restaurant for a night out with a small group of friends or for a date.

I've been on different days and I can say that the personal it's the most important thing to do your dinner/ lunch ,however what and why you are the,most joyful and pleasant. On my first day the staff were friendly and very helpful and ready to make my dinner perfect asking me about any allergy and helping me to choose exactly what I want from their menu. On the other day the other shift were less involved in customer care and needs. Overall the restaurant was nice and clean with very good quality food and the BEST Pizza in city and surrounding areas. If you are in Town I'm strongly recommend to stop and try that Pizza 🍕 😉

Decided to sit in for a small lunch, good selection of items from sandwiches to pasties and pizza with a variation of cold and hot drinks available. Has a very convenient takeaway window on one end and also sells biscuits and ice-cream. good prices and nice staff.

Highly recommended! First time there and will most definitely be going back. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! The place was busy, but we got seated and served pretty quick. A very cute place on the river. Will go back next time for lunch so that we can sit outside and enjoy the view and ambience. The owners and staff are very friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better night out.

Bit pricey, but lovely food. Staff friendly, lost a star as one male member of staff wasn’t very friendly at all.

Lovely pub by the Riverside which has the feel of a proper restaurant. Nice and friendly staff who managed to find me a table despite being quite busy. Loved the very nice and tasty John Dory I had. The fish tasted so fresh. The best fresh fish I had in a long time. It was served with a generous portion of chips and salad. I would happily recommend this place.

Fabulous location, good outdoor seating by the river, and Erigeron everywhere, which I love.

Popped in on Friday evening, perfect quiet location. Menu has some great offerings and all seemingly reasonable until you get your food delivered to your table then realise the food is an absolute bargain. My half lobster and chips was just fantastic and delivered by helpful smiley staff. Fantastic place and I couldn't recommend it more highly

We drove past and thought we would pop in for dinner and were not disappointed, really tasty food, nicely presented, with friend & helpful staff. Happy to recommend.

Service a bit hit and miss. But awesome food. If you set in the beer garden, which, as a view of the River Dart BEWARE of the greedy Seagulls. You have been warned ⚠

On Monday 18th March 2024 Three of us had an excellent meal in very relaxed circumstances, where we could hear each other speak, (This was important as one of us was hard of hearing). We were also very impressed with the service I think the waiter was called Louis. I recommend this place and will go there again

Food was delicious and the staff were very obliging as we wanted to take the oyster shells home from our lunch and they found us a pizza box to use. Just a beautiful bistro right next to the water.

Took family for a lovely meal everyone enjoyed it. Staff were friendly, helpful, and pretty. Beer was good. What more could a man want?

Got takeaway pizza so can't comment on atmosphere, but the service was really excellent. Really friendly and quick.

Only popped in for a bacon baguette, which was lovely, but I want to go back for a few pints and a meal overlooking the river.

The place is beautiful, and it's a pleasure to be able to eat outside. This is a simple place, grabbing cutlery by yourself. We ordered the waterside burger which was very good and generous quantity. I really recommend this place
