This is a lovely little zoo. The staff are very helpful and took a long time showing the owls to my daughters, who were captivated. Then, they also helped them pet guinea pigs. We spent about 3 hours there in total, so the entry fee of less than £10 a person is good value. Nice cafe, too, albeit with a limited menu.

Great day out for the family - up close and personal with the animals!! Lovely staff and wonderful value! To top it off the cafe is a real treat - can’t wait to go back!! 😍😍

Lovely place with owls, rabbits, and other farm animals.
Had the Owl Experience where we got to handle the smaller owls. Dudley was an excellent guide, offering us lots of information on the birds and how to handle them properly using a falconry glove.
For anybody who may have concerns on the wellbeing of the owls, the birds are rescues (former pets); plus they are taken to larger aviaries at the end of the schedule.

Great little farm where you can spend a few hours easy. Nice little cafe there too for the end. Animals are well kept and staff on hand for any queries who were also very friendly..bonus being able to feed some of the animals and interact with some of the smaller ones!

This place is a hidden gem! The staff were so friendly, helpful, attentive and kind.
A really great place to interact with the animals as most places you can’t even touch the animals (only look through cages and glass windows). This place you can walk through the goats and ducks, stroke the owls, it’s amazing! Great recommendation for the kids and adults would love it too.
Thanks everyone who made us feel welcome x

What a lovely place.
Staff are super helpful, animals are well looked after. A really good interactive experience when you can get really close up to the animals.
The food prices are super reasonable compared to most tourist attractions in Devon too

Went with our young kids aged 3-5 and they all loved it. You walk across a bridge and through the old steam train station to get there which makes the start of the trip exciting. Once we were there, we saw so many cool species of owls which you could touch. I thought one was a statue! We could. Walk into the goat enclosure at any time and sit and stroke the goats and baby goats. They also had a cool reptile room and we also sat and stroked some guinea pigs. There is a nice cafe that serves lunches, cakes, hot and cold drinks. All in all a lovely day trip out.

We went to Totnes rare breeds farm yesterday and had a fantastic time. We were a little confused on how to get there, having to park in the train station and walk along the river but once there we were blown away by the stunning owls they have. The keeper Pete was clearly so in love with his birds and shared so much amazing information about his birds with us. He spent 40 minutes with us showing us each bird, telling us their age, name and story of how they came to be there. We had the best time with all the animals, who are all good natured and very patient. We are already planning on coming back again soon.

Such a lovely well run place. All the staff are really friendly and you can tell its family run as the care and love they show the animals is easy to see and heart warming. The kids (and adults!) Loved it. Highly recommend for a lovely morning or afternoon out.

Went on Saturday with my daughter and loved it. Had been here before but not for a few years. They have a lovely cafe there with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very nice and the staff were really friendly. The farm itself is a great place to visit, lots of great breeds to see. It's also great that you can get in amongst the animals, feed and pet them. We really enjoyed our visit, and definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely location by the railway station. We accessed it via the crossing from the platform. Lots to see, good value and the cafe was excellent.

This is a lovely place for adults and children alike. The animals are clearly well looked after and being able to get up close in their pens is a real bonus. The owls (and their dedicated volunteer) were lovely to see and such characters. A pot of tea and slice of cake in the cafe was a lovely way to end our visit. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for making this such a special place

Lovely little farm! Had the best day with my daughters who loved the animals! Holding the rabbits and the guinea pigs, and being able to get so close to the amazing birds of prey! The staff both out in the park with the animals and in the cafe were so friendly and welcoming. All animals are super happy and chilled what a fantastic little place will definitely be returning, and would highly recommend :)

A lovely and interesting place right opposite Totnes train station. The animals are clearly well looked after and you're allowed in some of the pens with the (very friendly and interactive!) goats. It is pretty small but lots to see. There is a cafe at the entrance that overlooks the picturesque train station. I would recommend getting the saver ticket which gets entry to the Butterfly and Otter sanctuary, the Rare Breeds Farm and a return train ticket from Buckfastleigh to Totnes.

Great little farm where you can interact with the animals. Even better when the sun is shining.

A really enjoyable place to visit. The volunteers that worked there today we're extremely friendly, professional and informative. The animals seemed really happy and well looked after. The collection of owls were particularly spectacular, but it was also great to see the younger members of my family sitting with rabbits and guinea pigs on their laps.

Great to get involved with the animals where you can feed and stroke them within their own pen, very friendly animals. Price is included with the train and Butterfly Sanctuary or you purchase tickets separately. Great day out
