Lyzzick Hall Hotel

I spent a total of three nights at this establishment to commemorate my partner's 31st birthday. I have no grievances whatsoever.

Every aspect, from the cuisine to the amiable service, was flawless. The staff consistently exceeded expectations.

This location offers a remarkable experience with breathtaking and picturesque views. If you appreciate a tranquil and serene environment, this is the ideal destination for you.

Stayed her for two nights in June: simply excellent all round! Not cheap but still excellent value for the quality provided.

Room was spacious, clean, well appointed and had a decent view. Good bathroom too.

Had dinner and two breakfasts there: all extremely good: fair choice, well presented and delicious. Excellent on allergies too!

Service was relaxed but couldn’t have been better: clearly happy staff, nothing was too much trouble.

Only minor thing to note is narrow corridors and no lift, so lugging a couple of 23kg suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs is required…

Will definitely book there again if we go back.

Oh, and Keswick location is very handy: hotel sits on spacious country grounds so very peaceful. Recommended!

On this occasion, we had afternoon tea was which was excellent. Lovely personal service, relaxed atmosphere in beautiful dining room, with fantastic view.

Visited for lunch, the location is fabulous with views second to none. We were lucky enough to get a glorious day so we're able to sit out in the gardens.
The lunch menu had something for everyone & the food was beautiful. Cannot praise the staff enough, very attentive & could not do enough for you without being over the top. We were celebrating a 75th birthday and they brought out a piece of cake with a candle which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant at Lyzzick Hall is an amazing place to dine. Fabulous views across the fells, and exceptionally high quality food and wine, with a great vegan menu. The staff are knowledgeable and super friendly too.

We stopped for the weekend of the 13th and 14th July 2024 and were very well looked after by the staff, especially the Hungarian girl Orshe.
I was also wondering whether Orshe has had a curry yet. She will enjoy it. We have been coming here since 1990 and is a fantastic hotel with fantastic countryside

First visit after 20 years elsewhere.
As a frequent traveller on business, I have experienced many good hotels, Lyzzick is exceptional in every way.
We will return without doubt.

Visited this lovely place for a weekend visit, a beautiful hotel with stunning views, beautiful outside space, my room was spacious with a lovely seperate bathroom and beautiful views, very welcoming and friendly staff, great service very nice food, would highly reccomend.

We took my Auntie and Uncle here, for lunch to celebrate his 90th birthday.

From the moment we walked in, to being shown our table the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

The young girl who served us was professional, but with a lovely personal touch.( We didn’t get her name but she told us she was from Poland.)

The food was delicious,beautifully presented, and hot!

My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay. We were upgraded to the new Dodds wood luxury room which was superb. The view was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. We had a lovely meal today here for my dad’s 60th birthday. Drinks on the sunny terrace before heading inside were the perfect start. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals from the Sunday dinner menu and the service was excellent, no faults at all, all the staff are really lovely and couldn’t do more to help. Thank you!

We went to Lizzick Hall for my mother in laws birthday, we were a party of 10 and 2 children and nothing was any problem, one of the party was gluten and lactose intolerant and they accommodated that without a blink of an eye, pureed some food for the baby, and our food was amazing 🤩 service was five star, the room we'd book was the garden room and my mother in law said it was the best sleep she's had in ages, definitely worth a visit for both food and staying over.
