Serena took my counter order the old-fashioned way in person, which was really appreciated. Elena helped this Australian tell his story and feel welcome in the restaurant.

A very busy Maccies, the staff were handling the lunchtime rush easily. I used the app to order, and used an offer from the app too. Parking was tight, and busy.

Hot, crispy and tasted fresh. Good McDonalds experience. What I want and expect at all chains.

I find myself surprised to give 5 stars to this place but here is why:
The location. It's a perfect pit stop on your way to/from the airport. Car park is never full (although I've been here only a couple of times)
Else is all what you expect - McDonald's will never suprise you, but also will not disappoint. I'll be back once it's on my way.

Ordered placed and paid in the app, collected at the drive-thru everything went smoothly without any delays.

Consistently good food. Only downside is getting out , road is terrible ( not mcd's) fault. Potholed exit road and trying to turn back to the roundabout at peak times is painful

Went for a sweet chilli wrap meal tasted very good and before that for breakfast I had a bacon egg mcmuffin and a late'e

Regular McDonald's, not busy, outside town. Good after landing in Edinburgh Airport

Food was great as well as the service the only problem is that it's hard to get into and out on peak times due to the overload of traffic at the roundabout

Popped in for a meal place was spotless one girl cleaning ( HATTY )
She never stopped in our 40 minute visit even taking customers trays and emptying for them . A credit to McDonald's maybe the staff at hermiston gait should come learn how to keep their place clean

Helpful staff, good pizza. Vegan options available - pizza con potate was delicious

Standard McDonalds food menu. Didn't have to wait too long to be served. Staff were friendly. Toilets were very small, soap dispenser missing from the wall, but overall quite clean.

Drive thu. No issues with order and friendly staff

Went through the drive through thinking it would take ages but no it wasn't too long. The staff could cheer up a bit I don't know whose face was the worst the girl taking the order or the girls giving out the food. Cheer up please

By far the best and most efficient McDonald's this side of town. Never have to queue long in drive thru, food is always fresh and correct, a fine example of how to run a franchise.
If you're planning to dine in at this location, check signage for parking time limits as I'm sure its 30 mins max or you'll get harassed in the mail by a private parking firm!

You used to walk into Mcdonalds and there would be a mass of staff saying "welcome to Mcdonalds, how can I help you", then you'd queue for a short time and your meal would be prepared right in front of your eyes. Generally, this isn't the case anymore - our local Mcdonalds (Telford road, Edinburgh) hardly ever has staff at the tiny little counter and when you use self service and and table service, it can take in excess of 20mins to get your food to your table (it's certainly not FAST FOOD anymore) BUT... THIS McDonalds, (Newbridge, Edinburgh) had lots of staff. We used self service to order, and table service (we have a toddler!) and the food came within less than 10mins (even though the restaurant was busy!), and was really hot/fresh. The restaurant was full with lots of atmosphere and staff attentively pottering around. It felt exactly like how Mcdonalds used to be. Well done for keeping up the standard guys!
