Ferndene Cattery

One of those places you know is great and your cats are in safe hands, almost as soon as you get there.

Just moved to the area and first time using this cattery. Was able to message for updates and loved the cats Facebook appearance 😁

Each cat gets a warm indoor spot, outside space, any dietary requirements met and lots of fuss and attention.

Can highly recommend and we will be back.

My cat has been going to Clair and Lyndsey for a number of years and I wouldn't want him to go anywhere else. He is always very happy there and at home with them. Would give 10 stars if I could

What a find this cattery was, absolutely fabulous! Claire and Lindsey are just so lovely and clearly love what they do. Beautiful accommodation for the cats and I'm sure my 2 cats have been looked after very well. Would not hesitate to recommend Ferndene.

This was the first stay at Ferndene for Lewis and he looks as if he settled in quickly when you see him on their Facebook site. The Cattery is spotless and each pen has indoor and outdoor space, Lindsey and Claire are lovely and very professional. Thank you both and we will be seeing you again in November x

First time using Ferndene Cattery and it won't be the last. My Mam was send photos to let her know how her cats were settling in and they were lovely with her cats. Highly recommended xx

Fantastic service from Lindsay and Claire. Have used Ferndene on a number of occasions now for my wee man Zac and there has never been any issues. Five star rating - best Cattery I have ever used - and I love seeing the photos of Zac on social media while I am away!!

We feel guilty having to board our cat, but every time we leave him with Ferndene, we feel so assured that he will be loved and cared for. Claire and Lindsey are wonderful. Facilities are great and up to date. If I was a cat, this would be my holiday of choice!

What a wonderful clean, warm and safe environment for our 4 very pampered cats. Claire and Lyndsey know their individual personalities and treat them accordingly. As two of them are on medication we are confident that they will be given their medication at the correct time.
We would highly recommend Ferndene to anyone and know that our cats will always be well cared for. One of them seems reluctant to come home as she enjoys her stay. In what has been a difficult year for all of us it is good to know that the business has survived. Thank you for taking them in at short notice.

Top quality cattery run by people who adore cats and who always look after ours with the same love and care as we do. Excellent, safe, clean individual chalets each divided into outdoor and indoor halves (for personal space/shelter and with heating too) and a fantastic rural setting to provide stimulation. Wonderful place.

Claire and Lindsey have looked after both our present nervous and our previous timid cats very well. We feel very comfortable leaving them here while we go on holiday.

This is hands down the best cattery wouldn't take prince and amiga anywhere else . They treat your cats like there own pets the rooms are clean spacious heated and every cat has a outdoor space too absolutely love this place can't thank you all enough we can go away knowing our cats are safe and well looked after . Very friendly, caring staff. They really bonded with my two cats and made sure I was able to enjoy my holiday after they sent me pictures showing me my cats were ok. Clean chalets, good understanding of the sensitive feline souls; I can recommend this facility for sure. After having checked out an awful lot of catteries in the neighbourhood, I'm glad I went to all so I could compare; some of the others I would have gladly cancelled my holiday for, as I would not have left the cats in those. Claire & her staff are awesome.

Took excellent care of our two cats, Hugo and Tiger, very accommodating and got to know our cats during their stay. Very friendly owners, fantastic facilities and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Arlo has stayed at Ferndene several times, and he absolutely loves it. He gets spoilt throughout his stay with lots of love and attention. We can relax on our holidays in the knowledge that he is being cared for so well.

Best cattery in the North East. So glad I found them. Feel so reassured leaving my cat here. Facebook and what's app messages much appreciated. I think my cat wanted to stay another week!!

Oliver and Toby are both home now and they have both put on weight which is a good sign. I think l they have both enjoyed themselves lovely Cattery and Clare and Lindsey are very nice and friendly.

We recently left our 3 cats with Ferndene Cattery for 8 days and we couldn't be happier with the service we received and how well the cats were looked after. We will definitely be bringing our 3 back soon!
