Really good value and they cater for vegans well. The burger with added "fakon" was really excellent and so was the crumble. Grace , who served us, was super helpful and pleasant. Overall great experience.

Great lunch... our large group had a range of mobility needs, and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space with lots of parking. The staff were amazing, helpful and considerate, the service was prompt and faultless. Jess in particular looked after us brilliantly, thank you

I’ve been here for breakfast once and also lunch once. It was ideal for us as we had a toddler and there was a soft play area for her. Food is actually not bad at all. Plenty of variety and nice atmosphere . Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Really good food and exceptional value we were working down the road and booked in the premier inn next door last minute with the meal deal for here. We had a mixed grill with a dessert each and a drink included and a lovely breakfast the next morning all was excellent. Great fast service considering how busy it was for a Thursday night also a great location nice and quiet with a lovely view and brilliant if you were to bring kids with an indoor and outside play area. Will be stopping here again when passing or working nearby!

Lush breakfast, full English cooked to perfection, great selection of lighter breakfast items also , kids were chuffed with Nutella on pancakes followed by a yogurt and fresh apple juice .

Me and Mum are up in Bedlington seeing the family so decided to pop in here with our cousin for Sunday lunch. Personally that was the best Sunday lunch carvery that I've had for a long time. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was quick. Considering you get quite a large meal plus unlimited veg, £9.99 for a carvery I'd say is very good value for money, and even the kids size carvery, which is £3.99, was on the adult sized plates. We're in the process of coming back up in October and will definitely come back in when we're up.

Never have an issue coming here for a meal all the staff are very nice and friendly. Our server Katrina.? I think that's how you spell her name was very lovely. Got our order to perfection right down to the drinks. Can't thank her enough for such a great experience.

As usual, we enjoyed our meal. Pleasant surroundings with a lovely view over the lake and a chance to see the swans up close. Our waitress, Grace was wonderful, pleasant to talk to.Thank you Grace.

Rhys absolutely amazing, very very nice man. Kept us in a very nice conversation, served us really nice food. Wouldn’t expect anything less from Rhys. Lovely lad. Definitely brings a smile and the right vibe to this place definitely recommend coming here!

We wanted just traditional food and got it. Gammon, eggs, peas and chips and at times that is what you fancy.
The staff were pleasant and the food was hot. The atmosphere was quiet, because it was a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was warm, which was good for February and made it comfortable.

We come here quite regularly for a family meal & there’s a small soft play area for the kids that they love. You can also sit & eat in that area so can keep an eye on them. Had great service from our waitress today Chloe. Thankyou

Really friendly manager, and cheifs behind carvery. Sunday roasts are by far the best around area, and the price is excellent for what servings you get from buffet service. Highly recommend

Love going here with my family. Never had a bad meal or experience. Nice to sit outside whenever we get the weather. Can't beat the view.

Popped in tonight with my husband and son food was beautiful the young man who served me at the bar was very pleasant don't no his name. Finished the evening off with a lovely walk around the lake.

Lovely evening meal. Jenny the manager made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss. Fantastic hospitality. We will be back. Recommend the smothered chicken and the smothered platter, delicious.

Great service from the moment we walked in. Stayed at the Premier Inn attached and booked breakfast. We were met by Jenny who was friendly and warm and immediately anticipated our needs without any prompts. The food was lovely and the soft play for our 3 year old meant we could enjoy our breakfast and hot drinks while watching him entertain himself. Lovely clean and well presented restaurant. We look forward to future visits to our family nearby so we can enjoy the evening meals too.
