I lived opposite here as a child so practically been coming here for the last 45 years .
Intact my grandma used to hand peel the potatoes there in the 70,s .
And it's still the best Fish and Chip shop around

Huge fish portion, friendly service

Ordered over two fish suppers, mushy peas and curry sauce over the phone tonight. Told it would be around ten minutes. Arrived. Modest queue of three customers ahead of me. Theo acknowledged me, directed the girls to place up my meal. Packaged according to request : S&V on one, plain the other, Peas and C.Sauce to accompany. Exchanged pleasantries. Off home. Upshot: tucked in to yet another famously delicious Kielder Fish Bar meal.
Top class service with top class food. Cannot recommend highly enough. 👍

Went today I haven't been for years but I am visiting family and wasn't disappointed they were made to order and delicious I didn't have the fish but the family did they were awsome. We will be back

The team there are dead canny and hard working too.

Been going to this fish and chip shop since I was about 13yr old.. It is the only place I will eat fish from because the fish, apart from it been beautiful is skinless and boneless.. I am now 51 and can count on one hand how many bones I've found in my fish.. If the Kielder Fish Bar closed down in my lifetime I would never eat fish again because I wouldn't go anywhere else...

Definitely the best in or around Ashington, if you're after a good fish & chip supper don't think about going anywhere else. I drive 5 miles and pass 5 other chippies every week to get mine here.

Been a customer over 25yrs.. Its been in past,.. award winning... Even now its spotless, has the highest hygine award.. And the fish is perfectly fresh. The frier/owner is always customer focused. I say if something's grate.... TELL EVERYONE !!

Delivered fantastic value for money

This fish shop is amazing! Go here twice a week and would walk 200 miles if i had to to to come and eat from here. Next time you want fish and chips, come here
