Birthday treat with daughter and granddaughter for Sunday lunch,2 lamb and 1 veggie meal ordered only waited about 10 minutes ,its one of the best roasts I've had in restaurant really lovely. Top marks.

Ordered from the Sunday lunch menu, which is very reasonably priced. I've been in for dinner before, and staff is always welcoming. Great tasting food & service. Book in advance as Sunday was fully booked all day. Popular with locals.

We just went for a quick drink on a very hit day. Staff were friendly. I have a voucher to have food and by having g a quick look at the menu, I can't wait.

A lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, some of the menu wasn't available, a few soft drinks were also unavailable and this was at 5.45pm. Having said that, what we ordered (cod & chips, pasta and steak pie) was lovely. It arrived quickly, hot and good sized portions. All in all a very enjoyable meal, will definitely be back.

The food is always amazing here and it's great place to catch up with friends over drinks and some food. The staff are always very friendly.

Sunday lunch organised the night before, with my adult daughter. Can’t comment on the accomdation. Staff were very attentive, food was very good, we both had lamb. We also ordered a side dish of pigs in blankets- totally unnecessary as we couldn’t eat them- we were very full! I always judge a good Sunday lunch by the veg, beautifully cooked but not overdone. Very nice indeed! I’m going back next Sunday.

A large group of us had Sunday lunch here to celebrate a big birthday. Very welcoming staff with a good buzz of atmosphere. Food was beautifully presented, generously portioned and very tasty. Although we live in Scotland we will return when we are down for our next visit.

This is a fantastic place to eat been few times now and can't fault it food amd service both excellent.

Just called in for a pint instead of just passing, looks like a popular place to eat. Stopped off on a Wednesday evening about 6ish, restaurant end maybe just over half full, on leaving it was full so if you fancy trying a meal there I would recommend booking if you're going at popular times. Beer garden to the side, good bar area and ample parking at the front. June 2024 called in for food again after 2yrs, still as good as before, friendly staff, good chef. Wheelchair accessible.

Booked a room for two people and two dogs. Allocated one of the lovely little bungalows to the rear of the car park. Spacious and super clean! We decided to have dinner which was amazing. Pub was extremely busy which is always a good sign and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast the following morning was fabulous although we went for quick sandwiches the huge stotties were so good. Great place, fab service and amazing food.

Booked up via phone. Shown straight to seat. No pressure to order food straight away. Menu varied and caters for most dietary needs. We ordered starters and mains. Really tasty, hot food and plenty of it. So much food brought quite a bit home too good to waste. Staff were friendly and attentive. Busier than what we thought it might be for a Monday night. A testament in it's self.

Food is great here! I have recently eaten here 4-5 times and have yet to be disappointed. Bottomless brunch was great value, midweek lunch was fab- especially the cauliflower soup! Sunday lunches are gorgeous, and the staff are friendly! Would definitely recommend.

I was not the only one who loved it. everyone I spoke to said how lovely the staff food and rooms were.
Nothing was too much trouble for any one of the wonderful staff.

Just had a lovely stay here with our 2 dogs, food was excellent, both the evening meal and breakfast, staff where amazing and the room was clean well equipped and a good size. Also nice and quiet the rooms are set slightly away from the pub so no noise.

What a little gem of a pub. It has a warm atmosphere when entering and the bar/dining area is adequate.
A good selection of draught beers/lagers as well as bottle beers and lagers.
The menu has a varied choice and is well priced.
The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Our food arrived within 20/25 minutes of ordering and we weren't disappointed. Everything cooked to perfection. Only complaint is that the plates could have been a bit hotter.
But regardless, a nice dining experience and we will visit again.
As it was rather busy at 1.15, perhaps the best option is to pre book a table.
