We travelled from Worcester to look for a prom dress for my daughter. The choice was incredible and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The owner of this shop is a sharp operator. When returning some faulty sandals, which were clearly still brand new, but the straps broke immediately when put on, she showed no genuine concern, just hostility and aggression. She refused to refund or exchange, and said it was my fault.

She told me there was nothing I could do about it as her word was final. The other assistant there looked embarrassed, and silently mouthed the word 'sorry' from behind the owner. I got the impression this is a regular occurrence. They don't offer a refund on anything, so be careful before you buy.

The owner starting laughing about it / me with the still embarrassed assistant as I left the shop, intending to make me feel intimidated. Another customer overheard this exchange and followed me out to say how disgusted she was at the way I was treated, and that she wouldn't be back either.

Was it worth it for the sake of replacing faulty shoes under £20??!
