Grantchester Village Hall

A nice place and a useful facility in the village. I remember going to dances there as a teenager in the sixties, sadly with no success in acquiring a life partner! (Don't panic, managed to find one another way!). So it was fun to go recently to visit the biennial Grantchester Art Exhibition organised by esteemed local artist Tess Recordon, and relive so many happy memories. The art show was great too....don't miss it next time it occurs!

I attended an auction at this village hall. Everyone was friendly, it was like one big family. They supported each other, the items auctioned were affordable, most of the people managed to get something from it.

Perfect English village hall where we went to see an exhibition of weaving and dyeing. Lovely reading room at the front with the stage and hall behind.

Open studios here this weekend. Interesting art, amazing woodwork and fabulous jewellery.

Encantador. Descubrimos que ahí se rodó una serie que nos gustó mucho. Hay una teteria en un jardín muy agradable. Fuimos andando desde Cambridge en un paseo a lo largo del río. Seguro que volvemos.
