Woodham Golf & Country Club

We booked Woodham golf club for our Wedding Evening Reception, because its a lovely setting and local to us. But what made it even better was, the Girl who set this all up for us, she was called Wendy, have to admit she was very accommodating, she bent over backwards to ensure we had the best night ever, she arranged the seating plan, set up the tables lovely, even bought an adapter so we could share our photos on the TV. Nothing was too much trouble, she even arranged a room so my wife could change into her Wedding dress, and ensured that the dress was nice and straight before my wife made her entrance.she was not only professional. But we'll mannered. Polite and just a lovely Girl and perfect for the job. The night went exactly according to plan, everyone in that room enjoyed the whole evening. It was Brilliant Wendy,we can't thank you enough. We also need to thank her team behind the Bar. Young Girl who I don't know her name was also very nice. Polite and well mannerd along with Dan the Barman lovely lad. And the food was absolutely lovely, and plenty of it Well done to you all for making our night, something very special. Definitely recommend. Without doubt. We will never forget this night

We had a wedding reception here last Saturday evening to celebrate our wedding back in June. What a fantastic night we had! Wendy and her team set everything out for us just as we wanted. The tables were set lovely. The room and surroundings are lovely too. Wendy listened to what we wanted and made sure it was all pretty much spot on to our requests. We had nearly 70 guests. Wendy, Dan and the young girl (sorry didn't get her name) all worked so hard to ensure everyone including myself and Billy had a brilliant night. The buffet was amazing and food delicious, and Steve did a brilliant job of the disco, to the point where the dance floor was pretty full most of the evening. Definitely would recommend Woodham Golf Club for a function for anybody, and wouldn't hesitate to have another one here also.

Superb venue! Excellent customer service, beautiful function room with outstanding views over golf course. Lovely food. Staff went above and beyond to help. Would definitely recommend for a function!

The staff in the Bar & Restaurant here are AMAZING, second to none! They are always friendly, attentive and accommodating (especially of our cheeky requests) we travel up from the South East a few times a year and always dine here! Thank you and see you again soon.

We came to Woodham gold club a couple of months ago and the food was ok, we just returned today and the food was amazing proper Sunday lunch how they should be,, new chef and great service too thank you x

Would just like to say to all the bad comments on the course and golf club 🏌🏌 please come and try it again the course is fantastic thanks to the owners halls and the new greenkeeper and his staff been a lot of changes at woodham pro shop is well stocked thanks to Ernie and Rebecca doing a great job in there green bar and the function room are great after refurbishment everyone is welcome at woodham so all you who were disappointed before come along and try it again you wouldn't be disappointed this time 🏌🏌

Lady in the proshop is really helpful .
If you have never played here definitely recommend a round and a bar meal afterwards.

A July Sunday in the Sunshine course looked great greens were 10/10

Just been for a sunday roast x the food came out in super fast time, all fresh ab extremely tasty x portions great Yorkshire puddings amazing x will definitely be back x the referb luks fab aswell x

I would like to congratulate Margret and all the staff. For myself and my wife's wedding. We had a fabulous day the venue was beautiful and the food was fabulous. We could not of asked for a better day and the bonus was the weather. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic place!! Had my daughters christening today there today. They set everything up for us, were extremely helpful and accommodating. Staff were fantastic, couldn't recommend enough!! Food is fantastic, beautiful view from the restaurants. Just fantastic!

Had my wedding here last week, absolutely fantastic. Room , staff , disco and food PERFECT. All off my guests said best wedding, they have been to. As it was a leap yr, I willbe booking a party there in 4 yrs time.

We held our father's wake here and Margaret and her staff did a sterling job of preparing the room, the buffet and bar facilities. Not the happiest of circumstances but was handled tastefully and with compassion. Based on my experience I wholeheartedly recommend the venue and Margaret for any event 👍😊

Awesome carvery, twice we've been in the last year. Good quality foods, staff are good Ahmed is brillant exceptional waitor. Hopefully back again soon.

My wife, next door neighbour and myself, frequently have Sunday lunch here, the carvery is excellent, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it is very popular so booking is a must,
